Forum Football - Sunday 13th January

Was good to get one in last week, so lets see if we can carry on as intended...

An open invite to all.

All age-ranges and abilities are welcome (seriously! you've not seen the rest of us ) and the cost of the pitches are shared equally between those playing.

This week we'll be playing at Powerleague (Pitz), behind Woodbourne Road Tram Stop (S9 3HL) and the cost will be around £2 each or lower, depending on numbers.

So, if anyone is free this coming Sunday morning and fancies a game, this is what you need to know:

Venue: Powerleague (Pitz), behind Woodbourne Road Tram Stop (S9 3HL)

Time: 10:00
Cost: Around £2 each (hopefully lower).
What you need: Trainers or astro-turf boots. No studs. Shinpads optional. A sense of humour.

Guests are welcome.

Please yay or nay for definite by Friday night if possible.

I had to have a special bath after my shower to try and fix my calf.

I've spoken to Pitz today and they apologise for the confusion and problems, they were recently told they had to revise their opening times to 12pm and have previously been coming in early as they know a few lots like to use the pitches earlier than that. Obviously they hadn't made us aware of that and didn't make the guy who locked the pitches up on Saturday night aware that it would have been worth leaving a couple open allowing us to play before opening. They've started locking the pitches due to people "sneaking on" and refusing to pay/having to be kicked off, but don't mind opening up early for us providing they know we are going to be there.

They take responsibility, apologise and assure me it wont happen again, by way of further apology, they've also offered to sort us out price wise for a couple of weeks.
