Taking names for Sunday 19th. We had 14 players last week (7 a side on the big pitch) so get your names in early as we are almost full already.
If you are interested in playing, please read below...
Every Sunday we try to get a game of 5-a-side for forum members (and friends), down at Goals, Norfolk Park. It's a friendly kick around for an hour (and a bit extra if people feel fit enough) open to anyone who wants to turn up, regardless of skill, age or fitness... do feel free to bring a mate. The main aim is to have a laugh.
Venue: Goals, 95 Norfolk Park Road, S2 2RU
Time: 10:00am - 11:00am Sunday
Cost: £5 (at the moment)
What you need: Trainers, moulded or astroturf boots. No studs. Shinpads are optional. The pitches at Goals are really good and get resurfaced regularly. All are 3G pitches.
If you would like to play, you need to send your contact number to myself or Foxy in a private message and we will add you to our WhatsApp group. Each week we will give priority to the ten who turned up the week before, then we will ask everyone else on the list and it will work on a first-come-first-served basis. We will get final numbers by Friday PM and confirm if the game is on or off by no later than 6pm on a Friday so that people can plan their weekends either way.
Anyone who is interested, please drop us a message and we will add you to the WhatsApp group and go from there.
