so the season over and we are coming to holiday time anyone seen a current or former blade off on there jolly's or on there way home off there jollys??

I saw kyle walker with the rest of the Tottenham team in Miami airport last friday got a photo with him, you could see they didn't want any fuss but i just asked if there was any chance of a pic as i was a massive blade, he say no worries and i was great ful for a photo top lad. They had be been out for an end of season match against Jamaica i think, he just said "up the blades" as he left. One thing i will say though is as he got on the flight he turned left i went right, how the other half live.

My mate spotted Neil Collins in Manchester airport a few weeks ago, booked a last minute or confident to book it months ago??

Paul Beesley ,Macdonalds at Tuxford on the A1 last weekend .Tony Currie at Cooplands at Gateford ,most afternoons :)

It was such a lovely day on Sunday, we had a stroll through the park in Bakewell.

On one side there was a not too serious game of cricket going on and on the other there was a group of about 6 young lads having a kickabout into one of the goals. The sort of fun messing about we all did as kids.

I was certain I recognised one of the lads and his Macron shorts with 24 on them were a bit of a giveaway.

Joe Ironside having a laugh with his mates. I didn't recognise any of the others but they could well have been former or current young Blades.

Oh to be that carefree again.

And no I didn't ask him if he knew who the next manager was going to be.

No shit? I didn't even know he had his pilots licence.

Not famous, but there was a Blade at Headingley Sunday, quite drunk by the time he started the Barmy Army singing. Trying to get the crowd to sing 'I'm on the left side etc etc etc.' But as people weren't joining in, he was running from the left side, to the right side and doing both halves of the song. Very funny, but you possibly had to be there :)

My son played in the same team as Paul Beesley's younger son in this season just gone. It was a pleasure knowing a lovely family as my son is to play for a different team next season. Paul's older son has just signed a scholarship contract with Chesterfield

I saw Morgan and Rhino on the beach at Blackpool. Morgan had just started putting sun tan cream on Rhino's back. Bad news is having that mental image, good news is Morgan will not be available for a managerial role until the 17-18 season!

Alex Notman was walking on his hands at Wells Next-The Sea. It would seem that him, Razz The Clown and auntie Pearl have formed a formidable little comedy club.

Sounds like axel smeets ;)

John Harley, Lego Land, Windsor, yesterday. TBH he was quite difficult to spot in between the other tiny characters, but his cheeky grin stood out a mile.

Do I win a prize?

Dave Bassett ,West Street job centre ,interviewing washed up ex football types.

I remember when Georges Santos had his face smashed in against Forrest by Andy Johnson. I wrote him a "get well soon letter", and drew him a picture (presumably face still intact), to which I received a thank you letter and a signed photo.

I've bumped into him once in Cleethorpes whilst he was playing for Grimsby, and more recently at Blades matches last season. He didn't remember me the first time I went down to chat at half time, but when I started speaking French and about the letter, he started laughing, and we chatted for a while. Nice guy.

I remember a conversation I had with Dean Windass post United. Found him to be a top bloke to be honest and he spoke a lot of sense and I thoroughly enjoyed our chat and found it to be a real eye opener. Not going to divulge any of it on here because it isn't my place to but the bloke was passionate about football and listening to him I think he was shat on a bit by united.
