Rumours now doing the mills on Forest forums and Twitter that at least 1 Nottingham Forest player alleging to have been assaulted by Sheffield United fans at the full time whistle today.

Some say a formal complaint has been made by players to South Yorkshire Police.

Not sure if this is true or what if anything will come of this but doesn't bode well does it really, certainly doesn't do our reputation any good.

Agree doesn't sound good. I remember a few hundred pig fans attacked palace players - and female fans - live on tv the day they went down and they got away with it....wouldn't expect us to though.

I got straight off so didn't see owt. Bloody hope not though.

I was expecting Mr Oliver to wait until the ball was closer to the half way line to blow up though as it was clear that people were going to come on again at the end.

Certainly saw a few 'fans' approaching Forest players today. What a joke they were, what a disgrace some of these people were today. Can't take away from the amazing day, but there were a lot of fucking wanker-knobheads at the lane today. Let's hope they get their comeuppance before the Charlton game

Twats!

Some posting elsewhere make out it is a bit of fun.

Probably something to do with this (nicked off their forum):

Also one of their fans pushed danny fox and at the end of the game Jamaal Lascelles was having a right argument with one of the pitch invaders before Mackie took him away.

I watched this closely actually Linz, and that's rubbish! He squared up to the fan, who obviously had words, but there was certainly no "punch" or any attempt to harm the player at all, and Mackie came to drag him down the tunnel, seemingly before Fox did anything stupid!

I feel these "rumours" would not have been created had Forest won the game. May be a cynical view, but that's my opinion.

Hope this is a wind up. This is what our neighbours from South Barnsley and Weeds are associated with, not an old fashioned, professional, proper family club like FA Cup quarter finalists, Sheffield United FC.

I didn't see it, but I did see some absolute socket goad a Forest player to his face for far too long shortly after our penalty.

Selfish, witless bellend.
Yeah I saw this too, i hate it when some fans invade the pitch prematurely, personally i never went on the pitch but i kind of understand why some fans did at the end. Just please don't go on while the game is still actually playing.

Did you tell them they were "fucking wanker knobheads"? No, I thought not.

For goodness sake, calm down man. We had a pitch invasion, big deal. Great game, great result and far more worthy of comment than a few hot heads running onto a football pitch.

I wasn't on the pitch to tell them sweet cheeks ;) however,

When I was walking out there was a lad of about 15 who was mid straddle on the kop fence. I grabbed his blades shirt, told him not to be a knobhead and he stopped... Before going on the pitch 3 secs later.

Big deal, pitch invasion and a few smoke bombs, but there was no need for it. Plus it will get hype club a fine. If a pitch invasion is spontaneous then fine. But it wasn't spontaneous.

You may like it princess but I just think it lacks class and shows that we have many idiots amongst our support. Presumably you were on the pitch

Ok the fans were daft but where are the fuc king brave stewards? They seem to be ok hunting in packs of 6 when some poor Herbert oversteps the away end. On their toes today it would seem

I hate knobheads who use the club and a football match to behave like they wouldn't behave anywhere else. They get the club a bad reputation and maybe fined. Immature, selfish idiots. It's not "just a bit of fun" because it's not acceptable anymore and I hope there aren't any repercusions for the club. I hold the view that there shouldn't be a need for any police at a football match and that stewards should be more ushers than bouncers, but it looks like we're a long long way from that utopia.

On the ITV coverage, you can see something had flared up (surprisingly by their standards) where one forest player appears to be giving off a few verbals before two other Forest players run over to usher him away

The prize for the most excited goes to the ball boy who grabbed Coady after he scored, Fckn brilliant lad!
He was devastated cos Porter didn't run to him after the penalty!

It shouldn't be hard to identify some of the dick heads that ran on to the pitch after the game :
Then it is simple:
Name them
Shame Them
Ban Them
For some reason we seem to attract the minority 'idiot brigade' that seem hell bent on showing the world that the typical Blades fan is a brainless numpty who shouldn't be let out at weekends.
They are an embarrassment to the club and the true fans !
