Forest bid for MGW

Where is Forest's money coming from... well apart from their heroine smuggling owner who (**) would've been convicted of drug smuggling had witnesses in the case not been mysteriously murdered? Still, he passed the Premier League suitable owner test.

Premier League.
Have you ever killed someone.

Owner.
Well, sort of. I ordered the killings but didn't pull the trigger myself.

Premier League.
Are you involved in any other illegal activity?

Owner.
Yes. Importation and supply of class A drugs. But that's in Greece, not the UK.

Premier League.
How rich are you?

Owner.
Well, when you sell coke and H by the brickload and have enough money to pay someone to assassinate witnesses, I have enough to risk my clubs long term future in pissing money up the wall. Is that enough?

Premier League.
You said you're Greek and not from Saudi Arabia, right?

Owner.
Yep.

Premier League.
Welcome on board. Happy spending. Thanks for bringing one of the giants of football back. We've had to use extra thick kleenex since we found out Forest had been promoted.

(**) "allegedly"

I thought he was in wolves plans tbh. Have they signed yet another Portuguese player for that position?

If MGW is worth £44.5 million Sander is worth £35 million. Minimum.

WOW he's a good, young player but £45 million seems silly money

Sadio Mane (30 years old) - £27.4mil rising to a potential £35mil.

Any Premier League transfers should be compared to that. Kalvin Phillips and Morgan Gibbs-White both exceeding that fee is an absolute joke.

It is. MGW was fantastic here last season but he's still unproven at PL level. That said I think he will cut it at that level but that price is OTT. Forest are panic buying. They are trying to assemble a PL team virtually overnight. Big gamble. Successful teams usually are built over time rather than instantly.

Good payout for MGW he helped himself down the road, by missing the penalty along with Hourihane and Norwood.

The biggest concern for Forest is not MGW being unproven at that level but Steve Cooper. Could literally destroy the club parting with cash at the rate they are.

Good for MGW, I'm sure a deal that big will have also come with cracking wages too!

I do worry for Forest financially if it all goes wrong. I'm glad we took the sensible route whilst in the PL

They've spent this much cash and their depth and quality falls off a cliff outside of the first 11

Best thing that could happen this re Berge.

If Liverpool or anyone come with 20m they’ll get laughed out of the room given these two were in the same team and of similar importance once they were both fit.

Not sure of the amount but if we go up and get khadra for under 10 million we've definitely done better than forest
We must have a price for Khadra already with us able to buy if the conditions are met ,don't beleave it will be anywhere as much as 10 million.
Possibly 5 but that would be stretching it.
He has about 30 1st team games so very inexperienced.

It usually doesn't end well adding this many players on promotion
But maybe cooper is the man to integrate them all
I did notice they hadn't got a shirt sponsor

hes a special talent if we paid 10 mill for him I for one would he chuffed

I rate MGW and think he could be worth 44m someday. I don't think that day is yet.
I hope it works out for him (Not arsed about forest) because he was a star for us last season and I would have loved to seen us sign him perm.

I wasn't thinking this before the summer but the way they have spent it's not at all wreckless in terms of their targets, but for a newly promoted team it is financially. If they were to be relegated they are screwed, they are certainly not planning for that eventuality at all. Annoying watch it work!

Well if it goes pear shaped they are in big trouble. I think we had a lot to do with bringing the attention WGW has received in the recent past so Wolves should be grateful to us Can not believe how much cash Forest are spending .How many players have they bought in this transfer window? Must be going up to 20 or near on 20 . Would like to see them dip not because I hate the club it's because their fans are vile .

44.5 million is insane with Lingard already on the books in that position, MGW was great for us in the champ but hugely unproven in the prem

MGW was great for us, no doubt. However, he also had more stinkers than I think people care to remember, and I don't think you can afford to be that inconsistent in the top flight. The audacious flicks and backheels will get punished when they go wrong, and he also had a tendency to get wound up quite easily on the bad days. Some of the shithouses in the Prem will be on that in a flash. £44.5m is a proper gamble.

Forest acting like a kid in a sweet shop.

Wolves stupid to let him go.

Good luck to MGW, but I also hope his next milestone is a relegation.

44 Million

Fourty four million

Fourtyyyyyyy four milllion poundsssss

You could buy a mcburnie and a brewster and still have change for that

Madnesssss
