Forest bid for MGW

Just had a look and they’ll have spent over £160m this summer. Huge gamble and massive pressure on Cooper (arguably their biggest asset).

Could easily turn into the next Portsmouch. I suppose they are gambling if they go down they Have a squad that the walks back up In the Championship Next season.

If MGW was worth 45 million, we'd be in the PL not Forest.

He's a good player, and whilst he was our best, he wasn't bossing games enough to be even valued at even half that price.

N'Diaye and Berge arguably had a successful second half of the season as good as MGW's.

Anyway, if they can sustain it than fair fucks, but I really doubt that. Not even the big 4 are that cavalier with spending money, unless they're signing someone who is guaranteed success, which for me he isn't yet.

Do we get a cut of the £45m? We basically took him from £10m to £45m in a season, we deserve credit for that. Wolves have done fuck all.

It is. MGW was fantastic here last season but he's still unproven at PL level. That said I think he will cut it at that level but that price is OTT. Forest are panic buying. They are trying to assemble a PL team virtually overnight. Big gamble. Successful teams usually are built over time rather than instantly.
Looks like Wolves are doing a Liverpool and having Forests pants down

If MGW is worth £44.5 million Sander is worth £35 million. Minimum.

This money laundering is getting out of hand now!

A lot of people been taken in by the headline. It's a guaranteed 25m, 7m in likely addons and the rest made up of crazy addons if he ends up being worth every single penny.

FOReST have signed:

GKs Henderson (loan), Hennessey (free)
RBs Williams (£18m), Biacone (£9m)
LBs Richards (£8.5m), Toffolo (£5.5m)
CBs Niakhaté (£9m)
CMs Mangala (£12.5m), Freuler (£9m), O'Brien (£5.5m) Kouyaté (free)
AMs Gibbs-White (£35-45m), Lingard (free)
CFs Dennis (£20m), Awoniyi (£17m)

They play 3 at the back but have only signed one centre half and Brennan Johnson is going to expect to play. That leaves 8 places for the 15 first teamers they've signed. It's not going to be a happy camp.

Chatted to a Wolves fan on holiday, he said majority of Wolves fans didn't rate MGW, simply because he hadn't performed when previously given his chances. I asked him how much they would be happy to sell him for, he reckoned £6M. I would put his value somewhere between £6 and £44.5M.

Indeed. People just look at the top end figure and ignore that if MGW does enough to get anywhere near triggering everything he'll have generated much more in revenue for Forest

7 million in crazy add-ons 10 in very likely. The crazy probably being avoiding relegation

I wonder how much on top of the £160M will be spent buying refs?
Their owner has form for that.
As I gather against Wet Spam they had managed to get a perfectly good WHU goal ruled out without recourse to VAR

Based on what exactly ?
Based on what exactly ?
Well for one he's been watched by quite a few teams in the prem he's got the same if not better potential than mgw and if we can get him fof 10 million or under if we go up then you've gotta think it was good business it looks like mgw is going for nearly 45 million,if he turns out to be a great loan we've got that option to get him on the cheap on the flip side he might flop go back to Brighton and ne sold for a million it's a gamble but I'm happy it's a gamble we hold all the aces on
