I cannot believe that the scabs are looking at signing Gareth Bale and we are loaning in players like marcel seip! What is going on? it's like we want to be a mid-table championship side.

We have one of the largest crowds in the championship every week, west ham are giving us up to £15 million and weve sold the kyle's for £10 mill.
Where the hell is all the money going!!!!!

I don't like to rant but something is not wright! I know we like to balance the books but money just seems to be disappearing, probably into the boards pockets...

Does anyone else agree or am I just loosing the plot?

not many of us know what is going on behind the scene's and if we did i'm sure we'd understand what is going on.
No noise's coming out of BDTBL will always cause people to start guessing about what is going on.
No matter what United will still be United and having followed them a good number of years I have learnt not to expect the world from them and whoever we have in the team I will support them.

Other teams will always manage to get players who our fans think 'we should have signed them' but i'm sure the same can be said about players we sign and other teams supporters.

T'will be reight whatever happens

Forest are backed by a very wealthy Chairman. If you look at their signings if they don't go up this season they will be in a mess unless he bails them out.

Plus it's silly season for the tabloids. The Forest manager said a while ago that they'd like to sign him so they are putting it together. Probably best see what happens first especially as Bale will play matches this month due to the ANC.

I thought we should of gotten Bale, Walker and Naughton on loan from Spurs and I'd love us to sign Bale permanently for the left wing but we would struggle to match his wages. Forest's wage bill for this season will make interesting reading especially with their new 50,000 stadium to fund.

They'd play him on the left of midfield I would think.

That's where I'd play him for United in front of Naysmith.

Naughton Killa Morgan Naysmith

Walker Harper Willo Bale

I wouldn't touch Bale with a barge pole. He is constantly getting caught out of position and is basically not very good. He's a classic example of a player who was over hyped as a youngster, got a glammer move and the wheels have then fallen off. God knows if he will ever get his form back but there is a very good reason that Redknapp is willing to let him go.

Yeah probably the same reason that Naughton hasn't even made a league appearance yet and old Harry is apparently looking at buying Richards.

Tottenham buy these kids raw but then don't help them. I know WHU have this reputation of being the academy of football but not many shined while under Harry.
Lampard was hammered by the fans for his performances and only started looking like a potential top level player when he went to Chelsea and it still took him a while to settle there. Same for Joey Cole, Michael Carrick, Ferdinand looked good but always had a bid mistake in him until Leeds got him.

I just don't think Redknapp or Spurs are that good with developing and getting the best out of younger players. Huddlestone is another example I could use.

I think Bale would be an excellent signing for a championship club where he can actually learn his trade by playing at the level he needs.

Drool worthy FB

Those 4 plus a keeper would of been my 5 loans Robbie.

I don't think it matters who you play upfront with that midfield they'd all score goals. Plus you can always bring in Monty and play one up front if Blackie really wants to tighten it up away with that midfield it shouldn't be a problem.

Forest are looking at Bale?

So chuffing what!! Keenzy is looking at Megan Fox, Shorehamview is dribbling all over pictures of Christa the Tangerine! Doesn't mean it will happen.

You are on the nail here but I'm sure at Tottenham this trait of buying hyped up youngsters and then letting them rot before off-loading them pre-dates Redknapp.

Naughton going to Tottenham last summer had a bad feeling about it before the ink on the contract had even dried. Had he gone to Everton he could have been a regular in the side, especially in view of the injuries they have had and who knows, he could be pushing for a place in the World Cup squad now.

Oh yeah the Spurs stuff does pre-date Redknapp but the West Ham lads don't, I just think together they are a perfect match. This was part of the reason I was happy for the Kyles to go to Spurs.
IF we manage to fluke promotion I think both would be available for transfer within 18 months for half what we paid. Plus if we did fluke promotion I think we could get them both back on loan for the season anyway.

I really can't see Bale going to Forest. His transfer fee alone would be beyond their wildest dreams (Spurs will want to recoup a chunk of the massive fee)and if they can afford his wages then they have a lot more money than any of us realise. Its just moronic newspaper talk - as soon as a team comes from out of the wilderness and does well in the chamionship, they are linked with every failing premier league player that holds a reputation.

I don't rate him beyond his set pieces anyway. Whether he is deployed as a left back or left midfielder he needs to be able to defend and the defensive side of his game is quite frankly - woeful!

I would sooner see us spend less on a much better player and I am damn sure there are a few out there. If they can afford him, let them have him. We squander enough money on fruitless projects.

I must say that this looks to be a very strong team and one which isn't exatcly pie in the sky but looking at the players we have been signing in recent times i just can't even allow myself to dream.

But whats happend to the strikers and goalie, have they been sent off?

Well that's what I suggested just using the loan market.

As for the forwards you'd have Wardy, Hendo, Cresswell, Evans and Camara any combination of those would score goals with that support IMHO.

Personally I'd go with Hendo/Evans longer term but I'm sure plenty on here wouldn't. I would think starting with Hendo/Camara with Evans taking over as Camara can't play too many consecutive matches might help the lad meet his potential. As stated I don't think there is a bad upfront pairing with that defence and midfield any two could play even Cresswell and Hendo.

Goalkeeper would be Bunn now we've got him onloan.

I was trying to think of a team that wouldn't cost anything (loan fees? wages? depending), that we could get that would IMHO be the best out of all the teams in the playoffs. I think I managed it.
Taking a reality check if we can't get Bale I'd want the same team with Wardy on the left. I really don't see why that wouldn't be possible injuries depending.

Oh, I don't know. Given a tranquiliser dart in her left arse cheek, a snooker ball in her gob, and her in the boot of my car, it could well be a goer.
