Yes a top two spot is looking more and more like a pipe dream at this early stage, the performance today was Cloughesque only one player in the team is capable of beating his man but then he has to spoil it by going back and beating him again by which time the forwards have made their runs in anticipation of a cross coming in first time. Plenty of passes along the back four but not many runs from the front two and a midfield that looks very weak and who struggle time after time to pass to a team mate, I don't really want to mention the defending or lack ofThe 3 home performances so far have not been much better than under Clough. Don't think anyone can honestly say we look a massively improved side but it will take time to change style/standards. Just a worry that Adkins has not dumped some of the hangers on that have not been good enough for 3 or 4 season. I for one cannot wait until the end of the season when we can finally get rid of 12-15 players that are simply not good enough if we want to go up and then ultimately stay up.
