Do you know what, if just three people (Richards, Scudamore, Murdoch) worked something out as above and plonked enough cash on enough desks it would happen within five years.

I truly doubt it. I and thousands of others would chain ourselves to the gates of OUR stadia and make the lives of the money grabbing whores an absolute hell. Don't mess with Sheffield.

Exactly the same as me (apart from the ploughing money part). If there were to be a merged Sheffield team, i would just stop watching football altogether.

Same here. And I may invent another sport involving physical violence towards anyone who helped do this to my sport.

And what happens then, the authorities realise that a merged team won`t be accepted.

So they invite bids from "interested parties" to run a Franchise out of Sheffield.

There are maybe three bids, Them, us and one run out of Don Valley.

The Don Valley one is knocked on the head pretty quickly, after all who wan`t to watch football in an athletics stadium (WHU snigger)

So it comes down to us or them. I think we all know what would happen there, don`t we?????
