Where did you go?
When things went wrong for you?
When the knives came out for you?
Where did you go?
All you needed was a friend.
You just had to ask and then...

You don't have to have the solution, you've got to understand the problem.
And don't go hoping for a miracle.
All this will fade away.
So I'm coming home.
I'm coming home.

What did you learn?
Locked away all on your own, chance and your head all blown.
What did you learn?
It was unfortunate.
You missed your chance to find out that:

You don't have to have the solution, you've got to understand the problem.
And don't go hoping for a miracle.
All this will fade away.
So I'm coming home.
I'm coming home.

You don't have to have the solution, you've got to understand the problem.
And don't go hoping for a miracle, yeah.
All this will fade away.
So I'm coming home.
I'm coming home.
I'm coming home.

I have that song on blue vinyl after seeing them support The Charlatans at Sheffield uni - some good lyrics there btw

The Bluetones- Slight Return!! Fuckin ACE Brownie.
Strangely quite apt lyrics for our Gaz!!

Thats what i thought earlier as it was on in the car when i drove home for work

Tuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuune!
Seen the Bluetones loads of times. Top live band.
Cheers Brownie for stoking that one.

And as for your avatar Billyblade?
NOW THERE'S A BAND!!!!

You're not wrong Gaz.
Avatar represents the best album of all time. Only had the pleasure of seeing them live once and Mr Browns voice was not good. It was at the Reading festival and John Squire had left the band.
Just before "The Second Coming" came out, there were rumours that they were going to play a handful of intimate gigs under a false name. I noticed that at the Leadmill one night there was a band due to play called "Passion fruit and Holy Bread" which as any Roses fan will tell you is a line from "She Bangs the Drums" . Me and a couple of mates went down feeling very clever at having spotted this and proceeded to stand through a rather shit band called "Passion Fruit and Holy Bread". I was convinced the Stone Roses were going to eventually appear and was only convinced otherwise when a rather ugly bloke started poking at my feet with the brush he was sweeping the floor with whilst telling me I could "Fuck off home now".:D
