he didnt seem keen on taking that . i think he just got hold of the ball because he was closest . u realy can see why he didnt want to take it

I have gigabytes of poor corners and crackers like this one:

Sorry Keiran, I know you'll not be wanting to see it again :D

Do we actually practice set fucking pieces at all?

I'm not actually sure what Wallace is. What is his position and what are his supposed attributes? I haven't seen anything from him so far that has suggested he should be playing at a higher standard than he was when we plucked him from obscurity.

Fully agree Latters, Wallace isn't anywhere near good enough, the same applies to a lot of Cloughs signings who weren't good enough for Derby but now we are expected to believe those same players will drag us out of Division One?

I don't think so, the team has no passion, shows no desire or determination and appear to be an unhappy bunch? There needs to be a whole change in attitude because given the fixtures coming up, I honestly can't see us being in the play off places if they don't immediately dig in and roll their sleeves up.

On the subject of free kicks, was it just me that was completely perplexed when Jose Baxter played a square ball 3 yards to McEveley to hoist into the box?

No it was not. Thing is McEverley was on the ball as much as Baxter was so why did McEverley not take the kick to Baxter???

Find it incredible that our pro footballers do this. It's not like it's a one off. In all my time playing amateur football I don't think I've ever hit a dead ball that badly

Watching that free kick, among lots of other dismal things yesterday, I was reminded of Steve Harmison in the 2005-6 winter Ashes, when he hit second slip with the first ball of the series.

The number of times I've stood at one set of stumps, looking 22 yards down the pitch at the other set, and thought "How the hell did he manage to do THAT ?" ... Don't think I've ever bowled a wide like that one.

Can't kick a football to save my life, but it was dispiriting when I got home last night to realise how many times Steve Harmison had popped into my head during yesterday's game. Sigh.

The bloke who says "oorrrrrrr fuckin' 'ell, I could'a done that" has cheered me right up haha brilliant reaction.

Ditto! A brilliant vox pop and pretty much sums up where we are now. Mind, he'd make a better commentator that whoever was co-commentating on Villa v West Brom. A whiny voice and part of the Beeb's job-creation scheme for not-very-good ex-footballers.

No idea why we signed him, what his strengths even are or why he was taking that free kick.

Or why he was on the pitch
Poor Player Offers nothing - Easily see why Forest off loaded ! Perhaps he was part of the Adams deal ??

You have to wonder when we have the likes of Cuvelier out on loan who has actually looked fairly decent in his cameos this year.

both Wallace and Adams are young players and I expect nothing from them this season. Bit harsh to criticize Wallace imo,

It did annoy me that they both jumped straight into the squad ahead of Diego and other Academy players, but that's not their fault.
