As did the mighty Deadbat. Throstles from u11's - u14's. 1990-1993. Goalkeeper. I played against Nicky Weaver (Killamarsh Juniors) - who was same age group. We beat his teamm easily and I was a far better keeper.

I played from 1980 to 1983 for throstles before i left for the junior blades who i played alongside mitch ward.

I very briefly played for throstles around that era. The age group I was in folded as they couldn’t get enough players in. I only played for them as they were desperate. D division was about my level

Always loved some of the names in GT / Sugg / Redgates league....Remember EMUS, Beighton Magpies, Hillsborough Celtic etc!!!
