was looking at this earlier written by lee connor as a blades starting 11 that could win the title for blades if all the team give 100% next season. Though i don't agree with all of the players given that 2 of them don't play for us and haven't been rumored for blades. This is the team sheet he has selected and formation lee connor has picked is 4-4-2.

GK - George Long
RB - John Brayford
CB - Alex Pearce
CB - Jack O'Connell
LB - Chris Hussey
RM - Chris Burke
CM - Chris Basham
CM - John Fleck
LM - Mark Duffy
ST- Che Adams
ST - Billy Sharp

I bet they made you click onto 11 different pages to see that didn't they?

Clickbait wankers.
aye and it takes about 3 mins to load each page on my internet

I've always liked Chris Burke. He's getting on though and he's similar to Duffy. Not sure we should be giving him a two year contract. I'd prefer a left footed winger with pace.

Pearce is left footed and I'm not sure Wigan would let him go.

Pearce and Burke would be great signings

Pearce is left footed, so I don't think he's that likely, though I personally rate him as a player.

And Chris Burke must be in his 70s by now, would prefer someone younger, with more pace and room to improve

I'd stick Adams on the right, play Sparky or Done with Sharp and play Wright or Semple at the back, start with Wright and then sub if required?

Alex Pearce plays for Derby... not sure where you got Wigan from

You're right. I was thinking of Jason Pearce.

You see my brain works in a way that automatically rules out Alex Pearce before I even pause to read the name, as he's not a possibility. My football brain is clearly ahead of my regular brain.

Only Jason Pearce could be a possibility, but still unlikely.

As of now Ricky you'll be known as "Ol' two brains".

I think Alex Pearce is a very real possibility. Didn't play a game for Derby last year after moving on a transfer and went on loan to Bristol for 10 games. If he wants a good run at 46 games the best place to do it is here... A dominant leader. Exactly what we need, I'd take him on a season loan if that's the best we could come up with.

He was Reading's captain before. He's a decent Championship level player, not being in Derby's team doesn't mean much. And being at Derby he'll probably be on about 50 grand a week.
