The managers did sit under the respective badge. But the badges were obviously there first.

It may sound petty but I have a real problem with this. They were alphabetical until the pigs.

There is absolutely no way on earth to explain that ordering other than incompetence (whoever did it thinks W is before U) or it is genuine bias.

Or is there another answer that I've missed?

It does seem odd but tbh it doesn't not bother me, if you want an explanation then best contact BBC Radio Sheffield.
 
Why does Carlos sound like Borat? Never notice that before...

"Hello to you, my name a Carlos, I am manager of football team in land of York's Shy Errr. My friends would like to be in Primera Liga for howl of Yorks Shy Er, yes?"
 
I enjoyed the video, but some of the questions were meh, the rotherham manager seem like a good character and Ferguson answered some questions decently.
Wilder seemed very comfortable and came across the best imo.

Just about able to make out the conversation between Tufty and Carlos and you can hear Carlos talking about pre-season football and valda lobo in Portugal (yes I did have to google it!) and he says in his as ever straight forward English that there is a pitch there and Tufty says "no I went golfing"!
 
Really enjoyed the video.

I listened to radio show live but watching the video was much more informative, you see the body language and facial expression.

Wilder was impressive as usual, a real person with a good sense of humour.
Carlos comes across as a really nice likeable guy, even if he is like Borat and a bit too much waffle.
I like Paul Warne, incredibly honest and a bit of a joker too.

Ferguson has a bit of comedy timing. And I think the little remark from Caldwell was just a little dig with good humour...and well batted back by Wilder. I genuinely laughed when he said "When Chris spends his money and let's some of his players out"
But that Implies firstly that it's well known Wilder has money and is being tight with it, and also that we have a few players other teams would quite like in theirs.

He's bound to be a bit cheesed off TBF, Brooks would have played 30plus games, and quite possibly been the difference between play offs and promotion. And if Wilder had managed to get Holmes in then Brooks would be there now.

Difference between Carlos/Warne and Wilder is that Wilder is a likeable guy - like the first two - but has the record to go with it! Warne strikes me as someone to close to the players and hasn't that cutting edge, no nonsense that you know Tufty has. Carlos again doesn't have that edge to be a manager.

Enjoyed that and thanks to the OP for the link.

I thought all the managers came across really well and agree that Carlos is a likeable guy. Don't feel the need to have a go at him just because he manages the other lot.

Chris Wilder gets a tough time over on Porktalk where they can't get enough insults in at him, everything from his accent (Sheffield, so don't understand that at all) to his looks.

They come across as really bitter because he's got us up and looks to be a manager that knows what he's doing.

With him in charge I can only see United on a upward trajectory and they seem overly worried about that. They're dreading United becoming too dogs in this city again, with Chris in charge it's only a matter of time.
