It is what journalists do in general, but as has been said, Wilder thanked RS for their coverage and support over this wonderful season, and they've then ignored any sense of good will to break a story.
If it was a story broken on a larger scale, by a national paper or summet, I'd understand not giving a shit about how we feel about it. But it isn't.
People chuck the 'radio pig' badge about, but the same gripe is often expressed by the other side because both clubs' fans have bias. Blade and pig ears are sensitive to what is being said and I'd say I'm guilty of thinking the same about RS sometimes with regards to their coverage of them lot. But all in all, they probably don't do as bad a job as is made out (again, by both sides).
On a local journalistic level, it's in their interest to keep us as sweet as possible, and this will not have gone down well because of the timing and the nature of the leak.
Seems to be pretty damn poor from RS. It's not quite cricket.
