CC is a tough listen. Must be challenging to get the dressing room going when communication is an issue.

God he talks shit
I know it's not his first language but FFS he talks utter bobbar

Just listening to him now, can you imagine him trying to fire them up for a game?

Wow, we really have damaged them haven't we? Psychologically, emotionally, they are all over the place. Confidence is completely shot on and of the field and I don't think they have enough about them to recover.

Oh well....happy days.

reminds me of how we felt in 79/80

Before my time.....thankfully!
It hurt us and the team and we never really recovered that season as Wendy went up with Jack Charlton in charge.
It galvanised them and they rode the crest of the wave, whereas we were crestfallen.

I can just see this being history repeating itself with a twist.

I trust we'll be amending our version of a traditional Christmas Carol starting in 48 hours time? "Hark now hear..."

These heroes deserve a thunderous welcome and a loud, long rendition, don't you think?

Every season, Porktalk has a permanent and ongoing Football Heaven thread. This season, it's up to 51 pages in less than two months, so about seven pages per week. Most of the posts are critical of the people who ring in, particularly Blades and they idolise Mick The Gobby Rawmarsh Taxi Driver. Some of them even like Mark The Pitsmoor Special Needs Armed Robber.

Strangely, there were no posts at all until after 6.30 last night and only four in total, none of them having a pop at Blades. They really are hurting.

For loads on here not old enough.
There are defininate similiarities to Sunday and Boxing Day 79.
We struggled to win a single match in the 2nd half of that season and got relegated the year after.
It took me years to get over that match, not until probably the Bobby Davison 3-1 over 10 years later.

Is this an omen?
The house that Chansiri built looks like it might collapse.

They couldn't have a go at us tho could they Trigger

We stitched em up like a kipper

And I still need some help in removing this smile from my face cos it just won't go :)

They really are hurting.

Indeed - it was a reality check that has been on the cards for a bit considering all the money they have spent.

Worst thing for them - it was the Blades that delivered the reality check.

CW needs to bring our lads back off the ceiling pretty quick - but we actually KNOW he will, which is what gives us great confidence in going forward.

He hasn't built them a house mate. It's a rusting shitheap that predates Chansiri. Oh, you were speaking figuratively....

Let's hope so

Boxing day was one terrible experience for me and every other Blade, so I hope they are just as hurt as we were and if so and in that context the similarity is there

The difference this time for me however, is that they spent millions on players and more millions on their wage bill and yet they look decidedly average, pedestrian and sometimes pretty clueless and boy does that fill me with pleasure :)
