I think you've misunderstood my point that larger profile players and bigger clubs get more exposure than Championship players scoring excellent goals in the Championship.

No I didn’t at all. Having not just landed on this planet, being a reasonable well educated chap and having been an avid football fan for over 40 years, I completely understand that the ‘big six’ and indeed most premier league teams receive the vast majority of the media coverage.

I will attempt to explain again …. Had a player from one of said top teams scored that goal, it would be all over sky sports etc ad nauseum.

At no point did I bemoan the fact that because it was little old Sheff Utd that we didn’t have such hype and neither am I particularly arsed that it didn’t.

Feel free to find something in this to misunderstand. I’ve made two further attempts to make my point abundantly clear and if I’ve failed I will console myself with the fact that I nutmegged the dog then thundered one past my 13 year old daughter from 6 metres this afternoon and retire sated for the evening.
