He doesn't have a great deal to do so I don't really know how good he can be to be honest. Great double save today though.

One very minor criticism would be he could learn to kick with his right foot. He is VERY left sided. If the defence don't have the time to pass to his left side I panic he might not clear it well enough.

After Jamal Blackman I find it had to criticise any goalkeepers kicking.

He has a good record saving penalties this season. Don't know if he will be a bit disappointed with their goal, he got a hand to the header but it was from close range.

I am unsure if he is the best keeper but a question for our statos. Is he up there with penalty saves? Cannot recall paddy, dean hendo or kelly saving as many??!

Ramsdale made some very good saves in the second half of the season, but was hardly great for the first half, plus never really won us any games.

Ramsdale is a better keeper sure, but Foderingham has been the better keeper for us.

Wes has looked a bit shaky since the World Cup, but anyway he’s the best since Henderson. Far better than Olsen or Verrips , and better than Ramsdale was for us.

Given Hendo is getting battered week in week out which he wasn't with us I'd be happy to see Wes given the gig if we go up and see what happens. He's been fantastic for as by and large IMO.

Agree....Wes is solid and reliable and was a nice upgrade on Olsen, who was surprisingly shaky for us.
However he's no where near our best over the decades and not as good as Henderson.
