According to Twitter his bird is really fit.

Shame he got injured. I thought I saw a couple of snippets that showed he had a bit of quality and footballing nous. All the best to him.

Should be covered by our insurance.

Gutted for him. Whether here or Port Vale he needed to get some games but it looks like that won't happen until next season now. Here's to a quick and full recovery.

PS what is it with United and ACL injuries? Is there an unwritten rule that we have to have at least one player out with ACL damage?

I was told that we went ahead with the Ebbrell transfer despite not being able to get insurance for him. I was also told that we couldnt get insurance for Barry Butlin due to his back problems and we decided not to sign him until Butlin told us that he will insure himself

Yep, really.

I can see he has attributes that others don't, and which I admire. I don't think he dominates the game though, like these attributes should let him, and I think he gets tired far too early (around the hour mark) in every game.
I'm sure NC will give him time to iron these things out BUT, I suspect, he will expect better things from him next season and if he doesn't deliver he will be replaced. That's why I don't think he's "bomb proof".

I think he has the tools, I'm not sure about the desire to use them properly.

I completely agree with the first paragraph.

The only part I disagree with is the desire. I think he has that but may not have shown it and he's in danger of coasting in a team where he'll be the best player whether he tries hard or not. He has to get fitter, there's no excuse for being knackered after an hour. I really do think we have the right manager to sort that out in him!
