Just read his tweet regarding being back in about 2 months. Apparent he has started ball work again and stuff and this is his timescale of when he will be fit to play again.

Does he still fit into our plans? Personally I think he might the the style of player that Clough likes however due to his injury and stuff I can't see him pushing his way into the squad past Scougs, Wallace, Reed at the minute. A couple of central midfielders have come in since he got injured which must have sent him down the pecking order a bit.

On out loan in Junuary to see how he looks?

I hope he does get an opportunity, but I'm not sure he will.

I think he'll be out on loan once fit and from there it'll be up to him to force his way into Clough's thinking. I agree with Houso in hoping he does get an opportunity at the Lane; he's got all the talent to be a big part of this team by the end of the season but needs to prove that he's got the application to go with that.

Is he out of contract at the end of the season?

Cant see him playing, shame really, doubt we'll get to know how good he could have been for us.
Same as Sean Miller, bad injury and could have come good with patience, has started scoring for Cov already, hope he does well, just not against us!

Hope he is given a chance by Clough.

He looked a decent ball playing type of player, although it would add yet another light weight central midfielder to what is already a light weight set of players. I just hope Wallace is a hard as nails type of player, who gets stuck in without being dirty and just lets the others get on with it and create.

UTB

He needs to be given a chance, he has bags of ability and class is permanent. I can remember when we signed him most journalists commented on what a major coup he was for us. He needs to get fit make a few league and cup appearances and take his chance when he gets it. Unfortunate that he got injured when he did because I'm sure he would have been a hit at port vale and strolled back into our team.

I think Clough will like him, personally. He is very technical on the ball, full of energy and willing. But we know Clough doesn't like to rush players back from injury, especially one as severe as his.

Must be inching ever closer to a run in the under 21s. Was running and kicking a ball a good month and a half ago.

If we get the form he's shown at other clubs and Clough gives him a chance, he could really give us another option (if he can stay fit considering the huge injury he had).

Let's not forget Clough sent him out on loan almost immediately as he arrived at the club, no chance of him getting a game.

A horrible thought, but I'd momentarily forgotten about Flo.

Read most of the reports, how he's rated, what he's capable of, but what a nice problem for NC to have. I do hope FC shows the promise he's meant to have, you just cannot have too much quality in your squad.

Let hope he shows more than the other three Walsall recruits or he will not be here very long.

Good to hear he is back playing and another option we will have in midfield.

Also good to see a lot of the squad and Matt Hill wishing him well on twitter. Obviously he is a lad who is well liked at lane the by his team mates.

Always good when a player makes it back. I'm sure we all hope he has a big impact.

I'm guessing Flo will play a few games in the U21's then be put out on loan again in jan to get his sharpness back.

Welcome back lad!

Welcome back Flo, not on the pitch for long but made an impact.

Quality cross for McNulty something JCR should be doing more often.

Had McNuts noticed him I think Flo could have been setup for a goal himself today.

JCR did it loads of times in the first half ,but McNulty was sat down 50 yards away.

I can't see why McNuts can't play just off the front man so can drop in and give Nigel is his 5 across midfield when required. That being said this guy can finish and should be up top

Hopefully McNuts and OGrady can have the movement to keep us attacking so we can have 4 across the middle. Reed and Doyle for me atm until Wallace is fully fit.

McNulty ran the channels today unlike when he had chance to do so other night and did not.
Cuv quality will be great and Scougall will have to beware.
