I see the Millers are now offering these for the coming season

Reading the article, just wondering if this will be similar to how we will begin to move tickets

Unfortunately, I don't think it guarantees anything, apart from given priority when match day tickets become available, but if we are at only 30% or 40% capacity it's still an issue

The big issue coming is if they let 5000 supporters in for example. How do they choose the 5000?

Cannot be on loyalty points as I have more than my son so that would mean I would be going on my own?

Easiest way is to split season ticket holders into groups A, B and C and each game is attended by one group.

Seems a bit contradictory unless I'm interpreting it wrong- initially it says (which I like the idea of)

If its half capacity just let people in with an even ending customer number one game then odd the next ,if its a third-1-3 one game 4-6 next etc ,and charge the ticket per game used. Is that not how it should work ? Start a forum so people can swap if they have dependants or cant make games.
Any better solutions ?

Sitting apart looks rubbish, I wouldn’t be bothered about attending I don’t think and would happily just keep watching on TV if that was the case. I really miss going but half the fun is meeting up with friends/family and enjoying it together.

Same here I will purchase season ticket and just wait till we all go back none of that social distancing rubbish and no shouting etc not for me , opposite of what we go for

If you're looking at the Brighton game as an example, you've got to remember that was for all intents and purposes a test, and it was also a pre season friendly. I would imagine that when they're actually starting for us, they'll be able to locate groups of STHs together who know each other anyway

As for any atmosphere questions, I've been to three games in Prague this weekend with no more than 2500 fans in combined, and it's been fine. Lack of atmosphere won't be a distancing problem, as usual it'll be an English problem

I've had a season ticket for quite a few years now however i would be willing to postpone buying one for next season unless perhaps something better sorted by xmas half season ticket time , so long as they will save my seat for when all this is over. Perhaps the club could canvas opinions might be quite a few willing to temporarily sit next season out

at the rugby think it was 700 allowed in and they sat in pairs or families and there was about 6 seats empty in all directions between them.

I won’t be in a rush to go to a football game in the current climate, I mean come on, what’s the fucking point when you can’t enjoy it? I go to take my lad, meet up with my mates and their kids, enjoy a gargle and a chit chat, basically doing what I want and when I want, in an orderly manner obviously, celebrating a goal, going batshit and hugging the next person to me who I’ve never met before, the buzz of the very busy match day atmosphere, I won’t be able to do this so someone who wants to watch the Blades on their Jack Jones can have my ticket. It’s currently wank!

My starter for 10. We have (had) 25000 ST holders. Create 5 groups A,B,C,D,E. "A" week 1, "B" week 2 etc. Everyone chooses a group to be in, so My kids, nephew and myself choose "A" so we can all attend together. Others would do the same. This maximises the space available because social distancing can be reduced due to being family members. If this would allow 5000 to attend, you would get one game in 5, so a potential 4 home matches.
Actually 4 matches sounds crap doesn't it? I hope they have a better idea up their sleeve.
Aways and cups would add extra matches though. Again split into groups for maximum attendance.
Loyalty points within groups would create further problems though. As a suggestion the whole family group could be represented by the highest points holder, maybe allowing 5 tickets max?
Piss poor I know but the more ideas, the better chance of a relative success.
