OK then, I'll post this. It's been about 3 hours now - where is everybody?

It's now going to be played on Tuesday 24th January. http://www.sufc.co.uk/news/article/sheffield-united-fleetwood-town-tickets-2247796.aspx

So we've suddenly gone from having 4 games in January to having 6 games.

Probably a blessing. January could be a very fruitful month if we stay on form. February will be difficult, so having two fewer games should keep us fresh for some tough encounters.

They all look like winnable games in January, but the number of them will complicate things a bit.

I suppose it's just a game every Saturday with one midweek game thrown in. But I would've preferred less games to be fresher for February, which looks tough.

take each game as it comes, no distraction of cup games in the way
dont worry about games in February , until February
might have bought some fresh legs in come Feb

including oldham theres 7 games till the end of jan
if we get our 2 points per game Ill be happy
44 plus 14 would put us on 58 points, really acceptable
5 wins a draw and a defeat gets one more point than 4 wins and 3 draws staying unbeaten , not necessarily better
so theres no perfect way of getting there
except 7 wins

Cheddy should have a field day against that lot ;)

Ah shit. Booked a holiday for that week safe in the knowledge I wouldn't miss a home game. That went tits up

Don't forget that the Oxford game at the end of the month has a high chance of being called of due to the FA cup, so we are likely to get a break before Feb.

Just have to come through Jan with as few injuries as we can. February is always tough, but you make it easier by ensuring that you pick up as many points as you can between August to Jan. Sounds simple, but for the last few years we've not done that. Sitting in 2nd at Christmas is good.

Teams will definitely drop points in Feb, we will definitely drop them too, we just have to keep players fit. As Tyler Durden says, Jan could be a very fruitful month.

Well I'm happy because it means I won't miss it. I'm in Australia for the whole of February. Actually gutted I'm missing Bolton and Scunny!

Does anybody know/ can be bothered to look how many games Bolton and Scunny play in January?

Scunthorpe - 5 league games and 1 shitpot trophy game.

Bolton - 5 league games and 1 FA Cup game.

Wilder is obviously trying to play as many games as possible before they sell his best players on transfer deadline day.

(Well somebody had to say it. I'm surprised nobody else did. New trust in the Board?)
