Carruthers is fantastic when we're attacking teams, running with the ball , sliding through passes etc however I don't think he offers the all round ability of Fleck or the control, calmness and technical ability of Coutts. So it depends on how Wilder is going to play as to how effective Carruthers will be. I enjoy watching him and I think he'll have a good season probably coming off the bench if we're chasing a result.
