It is not worth selling any chance of promotion that we’ve got for any money.

We will not recover from this sale in 3 days.

Daniel Johnson signed a new contract. Could get him for less than £4m though.

If we do sell Fleck for a less pitiful amount then some players to consider as replacements* are...

John Swift
Liam Kelly
Romaine Sawyers
Massimo Luongo
Alan Browne
Daniel Johnson
Ben Osborn (unrealistic)
Kevin McDonald (loan)
Andy King (loan)

*I know we don't replace assets properly but I'm talking in ideal world
Liam Kelly has been made available for loan by Reading. Luongo would be a very good replacement actually, but I hope we don't need to replace him at all.

It’s a blessing that many on here have said he’s been crap this season.

I think he’s not been up to his usual high standards in many games, but still been good.

I’ll miss him if he goes.

But life goes on...

If Fleck has been tapped up for a while, it may explain why his performances have been a bit off colour this season. I don't think we should be selling anybody who is a regular starter given our position right now. £4million is a bit of a p1ss take bid, but then again this is West Ham.

Andre Dozzell young lad at Ipswich, left footed with lots of ability but wouldn't be a ready made replacement right away I don't think.

Just thinking of affordable potential replacements just in case, as you know nothing ever goes smoothly with the Blades.

Alex Mowatt. Bossing it at Barnsley, far too good for league one. Decent at this level too, just lost his way a little before he left Leeds for them.

Interesting, the new manager may not fancy him. It might be a good opportunity to get him permanently. Left footed, young and can play Fleck or Duffy's position.

Is he the dead ball specialist? Wasn't aware he was left footed either but could well be worth bringing in, even if it just as cover/competition if that's the case.

He will go for an Undisclosed fee announced Thursday I would guess, just too late for us to get our incomings “over the line”

Incidentally didn’t someone say Burnley were sniffing around him in Corpthorne last year? .. got the colours right if nothing else.

Lies.

Yep, got a decent shot on him. Not certain he's left footed actually, but I'm sure I've seen him hit good shots with his left. Definitely one of those you look at and wonder 'how good could he be in our team'.

Sawyers is another one I think about like that and he'd be one of my first choices. He can play deeper and is at home down the left side of the pitch, even though right footed.

Sawyers would be my no.1 pick all day long. Such a classy player, he is actually much better suited to playing deeper than in the No.10 spot. Would cost a bomb I would suspect though.

Need the player and Manager to come out and say he’s not going anywhere at any price this window to shut this down.
