Fleck

No, Stevens should have been sent off. Hendo did drop a bollock and mcgoldrick's finishing is poor. Those are facts however rose tinted your glasses.
But Duffy, Fleck and Norwood not being very good is an opinion. Stevens could have been sent off although the second yellow would have been harsh. Mcgoldricks shots were all on target.
Other than that you hit the nail on the head. Well done.

Oh for gods sake mate.... ok. (Pats on head)

Should have brought coutts on for fleck or even Norwood after an hour. Both were poor

Coutts doesn't work as a sub and anyone who suffered more than a few games under the idiot Adkins would know that.

I wasn't at the Lane today and watched from the other end of the country. We were lucky in the first half that Stephens and McGoldrick weren't sent off and DirtyLeeds deserved a penalty. Blaming Fleck or anyone else seems a bit silly. I couldn't understand why CW didn't see how we lost the battle in the middle of the park. When he took off Duffy I expected Lundstram or Crannie. Washington ran hard but didn't stiffen up the midfield.

I'm still a little surprised there aren't more threads blaming Lundstram or Clarke, for not contributing more in this sorry defeat.

United fans, doncha' just luv 'em.....

Non of the midfield players missed an easy header or passed a ball straight to the opposition for a tap in, so I have to disagree.
They created eff all so yep they are equally as culpable

Give the lads a break. The dirties were good and had done their homework on who to watch. We were losing at home to Crewe not so long ago.

Patience - and then onwards and upwards

Can someone please find the real John Fleck and get him back in the team.

Do we hope he can play himself into form or do we consider dropping him at some point. If so, for who?

Thought this lad played well today, did a lot of, dare I say it, "unseen work"

How do you know if it was ‘unseen’? ;)

Still got a way to go to match Hammond’s ability with the ‘unseen work’, nobody managed to get a glimpse of that.

Thought Fleck was good today but then I’ve never really agreed with the argument that he hasn’t been as good as usual

Vital cog in the system. Love him

Quiet first half, but was much better in the second half

Fleck is doing ok - he isn't a problem in how the team often sets up.

McG is supposed to be up top but he drops deep into pockets that Fleck once occupied and we quite often are playing a 3421 formation.

We are playing slightly differently to last season and the new signings may mean we are going to adopt different front pairings as we saw last week at Norwich, which produce a great result for us - we're doing just fine.
