Fleck has set the bar today

The BBC report is written by a 13 year old too?
Hold my hands up then but can anyone seriously tell me he was the best player out there today? This is not a Fleck bashing but surely people aren’t that blinkered to see that more than one other performed better than him

And anyone holding up BBC pundits as the fountain of all knowledge really do need to give their head a wobble

Very sloppy in possession but great drive today.

We're lucky not to have conceded from a Fleck mistake this season imo, just needs to concentrate more. Can't fault other areas of his game.

Fleck played well, gave the ball away on the odd occasion, just like a few of the Liverpool lads did- wonder if they're premier league quality 🤔. Anyway, do agree he should either pulled the trigger or slipped Mcburnie in but that ball for Clarke at the end was brilliant. First time he's played at this level so is still learning etc, some people need a reality check.

What like Norwood

Norwood has given the ball away more than any other player this season. To say he's been given the armband in Billy's absence, he's not exactly leading by example. He needs to start upping his game. He's been our worst midfielder so far this season. I'm guessing Freeman isn't getting a game as he's not doing enough in training, which is a worry.

Fleck and Lundstram have been much better overall.

100% agree with you fella

I thought Norwood was shitting it every time he got the ball today. Not sure I can blame him with one of Mane, Firmino or Salah normally within 5 yards of him whenever he received a pass.

Got the best dead ball delivery in the team if no one had noticed.

Thought Fleck was outstanding today. When he’s in the mood like that he’s a top midfielder but too frequently he fails to stamp his authority on games he should.

He’s really set the bar with that performance today. More please. Very proud of the boys and gutted to have lost.
I think the team set the bar today. Very good performance. Expect no less for rest of season.

Again I’ve seen a different game - in which he gave the ball away through sloppiness several times including when they then ran up the other end and hit the post. And fannyed around instead of shooting.
A real weak link. Would pick Freeman over him every time, he is not PL quality.
Yep you have seen a different game

He was outstanding today. He takes risks and is the only one of our midfield three who can go past a player and drive us forward. Got up to support the front two and looked dangerous in the final third. Just wish he’d shot with his left peg instead of cutting inside!

He’s been a revelation since coming back from injury and is keeping Freeman out of the team on merit.

Players taking responsibility, making themselves available and trying to make things happen is vital to us. We'll have to get used to us giving the ball away more than the previous couple of seasons. I thought Fleck was involved in a lot of the good stuff we played today and is showing good form.

Given the opposition, that was Fleck's best game in a United shirt by a mile, he was immense. He looked to be on his way back vs Soton and today's display sealed it. Lundstram was all at sea, way out of his depth today and Norwood was okay but that was about it. Take Fleck out of that midfield at the moment and all the energy goes with it.

As someone once said, 'If you don't make mistakes, you haven't been trying hard enough.'

Give me Fleck and all the rest over foot-draggers like Leon Brittan.
