Got stuck into tackles, created a chance or to. Good to have him back and had a good game. Looked more like the Fleck we used to see. Let’s hope he keeps improving and that his injury problems stop. Another body in midfield for us is fantastic.

We've missed fleck massively for two year's. Without him been great today we're far better as a team when he plays half descent
He reminded me of the Fleck we saw in the first season return back in the premier league. I hope he can continue on from today because he would play a massive part in pushing us over the line for promotion!

I didnt think he played well like a john fleck can play but to have him back and hopefully getting to true john fleck standards is a real boost, hes not past it but is not up to his standards yet but playing regularly will get him there

Not a stellar performance by any means but he brings balance to the midfield. He's another out ball for Norwood and knows how to play LCM better than anyone else we have. We just have to hope we have an injury free John Fleck for the remainder of the season. If we do then he will get better and his experience will be vital for the run in.

Looked composed, played the simple stuff well and does like a tackle. No he’s not got the legs or speed but all we want him today is help see us over the line and we can part way with an amazing servant of the club

Any ideas why , when replacing Lfooted Fleck , PH put on Rfooted Doyle on the L side , instead of Lfooted McAtee ?

He thinks McAtee makes us a bit vulnerable defensively, presumably in terms of his positioning off the ball, and his work tracking back and supporting Lowe etc. I assume Hecky was looking above all else to make us more solid defensively today after shipping 6 goals in 2 games. He thinks Doyle is better at doing that even though he’s right-footed.

Not sure in my opinion. He reminded me of Stevens today- past it.

I agree. I was at the game and I thought he was poor. I'm sure the "he's just back from injury brigade" will pipe up but I think people have short memories as before he got injured he was very poor and there were comments that he was finished like Stevens.

Few times Lowe had got in acres of space on the left and Fleck instead of laying it off straight away dithered and when he actually decided to play the pass it went straight to Watford. We had no attacks of worth down the left. Yet on the right Anel, Bogle, and dare I say it Berge were a better combo. Even Ndiaye and McB it was all down the right.

On the 2nd half we started better but it wasnt till Fleck and Lowe were subbed that we started to pressure them. We were attacking on both sides then and thought Ozzy was great.

An unpopular opinion but just my opinion how I saw it at the match.

Flecky has been there and done it, he knows what it takes to win promotions, his know how will be invaluable for the run in.
I thought Fleck had a good game. His experience really showed. I don’t think he was anywhere near the best I’ve seen him though: he’s 31, and he was 26 and 27 when he was player of the year for us. He could have won it again in our promotion season, but I honestly think any player in the whole team could have won it that year and thoroughly deserved it.
He has looked a way off that level in a lot of games in the past year and a half though. Today was good I thought, and showed he is still a really capable player within the squad.

It was great to have Fleck back today, he just seemed to make that midfield look stronger. I also think Norwood looked more comfortable having him there. For me Fleck was MOTM and I say that as someone that thought he was another one that had seen better days….one match and all that but maybe the jury should stay out on his future.

Flecky has always intrigued me. I thought he'd be a right feisty bastard behind the scenes. When Ingood Nick interviewed TDX, he shared that several almost want to be quiet and private on camera...I now wonder whether Flecky is one, he never wants to be central to any social media coverage, you barely see or hear of him.

That said, Flecky quietly going about his business for the run-in will do me just fine!

Probably not the only one who was concerned when saw Flecks name on starting lineup and thought we would have another disappearing act alongside Berge.

However thought Fleck was really up for it, wanted the ball and didn't try to hide, was pleasantly surprised.

Even Berge was more involved too than previous games.

In fact I would say Norwood was slightly below Fleck and Berge today, but overall a proper midfield outing today.
