Slag me off all you like, the results this season prove beyond doubt what I am saying. The fact that we are still second despite abysmal performances lie yesterday just shows what a raffle this league, this season, is.

I must admit though, i'm really enjoying the abysmal free flowing, neat passing and attacking football with the 3rd most goals scored in the league.

I think before talking about the football being abysmal at Bramall Lane it might be a good idea to go to a game there...( I don't think you go)

Did you see us destroy Aston Villa ? If so how did you think we played ?
Villa are a top side, no doubt about that..

We’re second in the league and this Is what’s posted on here, deary me, have we finally seen it all..

It’s fairly typical that after a defeat you get the doom merchants putting the boot in straight away. Wilder has said many times in his interviews there will be bumps in the road and this was one of them. I’ve got bad news for you, there will be more. Form suggests this league is going to be tight this season, so try to enjoy the ride.

Is it really any great surprise that we find it more difficult to beat the better teams in the division?

Isn’t that what is supposed to happen? That’s why Ipswich are bottom, because they can’t beat any of the teams that are better than them - I.e everyone.

IdLiketoRogerMoore , Winters coming, there's a new scarf you could wear to the match that will suit you sir.

We've not beat any good side away from home since we've been in the division.

Even the home wins against Wolves and Villa were In favourable circumstances - Villa were unfit/ill prepared and Wolves had 10 men for 75 minutes.

"Quick, quick, there's a passing train. Everyone jump in front of it, we're fucked anyway!!!!!"

1066, why do you write shite like that ? Another one that’s not played football at a decent standard I presume.
I’ll bet your missus loves going out for a beer with you and your stimulating gobshite UTB

We can't beat any decent team, as the last season and this suggests. Sorry kids, we're going nowhere in a hurry. Yes I know many will say, good, cos loads thought we'd be going down.
Oh,I don’t think I’ll bother going anymore then......

Oh,l don’t think I’ll go anymore then....what the fuck is a good team supposed to be in your expert analysis?
and what the fuck has last season got owt to do with it......honestly.

Were you pissed when you wrote this or are you really deluded ?

If answer B is correct you should support a proper team like Sunderland or the trough snufflers over at the rust bucket.

A wise man once wrote that if you have nothing constructive to say it is better to say nothing and let people think you are stupid than post on a forum and prove that you are.

Doesn't matter how badly it ends it will be a damn sight better than it started.

....and that’s what us fans of plucky ‘ol Sheffield United need to remember. No matter how bad things get, it could be worse. Best not hope for much, eh? We’re like a whipped dog.

Sod that, we might all be lying in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars.

You say that like it's a bad thing. I'd settle for losing to everybody else in the top seven (home and away) in a heartbeat. As long as we win the other games.
Bingo! That’s exactly the point, I don’t give a stuff who we beat, draw or lose to. If the points tally at the end of the season is enough we’re going up and all the doomsday merchants can then bury themselves in their analysis and predict our immediate relegation .......... jeez
UTB

Even if the OP is true (which i dispute) then i'm not that displeased given a) our budget and b) where we were 3 years ago.

Are you ill?

Wolves were down to 10 men because we sliced them open, to be fair.

Precisely. It wasn’t alien abduction. We didn’t have a player sent off because they weren’t repeatedly bearing down on our goal threatening to score. We were just as much on top, possibly more, when they were at full strength.

Cause and effect.
