On Football Focus which is ostensibly all leagues, they didn't have us on the opening titles, they did however have Farke, Bielsa and yes, you guessed it, Frank Lampard.

The first Saturday of the new Premier league season sees the Blades paired at home to an established top flight club - Southampton.

The rain is relentless in the 24 hours leading up to the game leading to the bridge near the Bridge Inn (RIP) to flood.

But nothing us going to rain on the Blades parade as they come out 3-1 victors.

The next two games are away at Arsenal and Everton, the two longest serving top flight clubs.

The Blades triumph, playing a swashbuckling style of football. Both games end 1-0.

During September there are home games against two Europen finalists, Tottenham and Chelsea. The former scramble a 2-2 draw as Pochetinno has to resort to a long throw tactic to break the Blades defence. The Chelsea game sees a 1-0 victory to the Blades.

A visit to Leicester sees Harry Maguire needlessly giving away a corner from which John Fleck scores directly from.

October arrives. Brexit deal looks as though it's resolved and not since 1975 the UK look to be free from Europe. Meanwhile the Blades seem to have Europe in their sights are turning the clock back to the 1970's. On Saturday October 5th 2019 the Blades travel across the Penines to take on their United counterparts in Manchester.

Thousands of Blades without tickets make the journey. Those fortunate to be inside Old Trafford witness the Blades win 2-0. A run from the halfway line from Mark Duffy sees him driven wide but he manages to score, an in off-the-post. Billy Sharp makes it two following a cross from Jack O'Connell.

The Blades sit top of the Premier league.

I am going to try my best to come and see the Blades this season with us back in the Prem.Will not be easy both financially and logistically especially with us having a baby, but if there's a will there's a way.

I preferred the 4th division,lots of honest football and so many away grounds within a short travelling distance.
Maybe my memory is playing tricks on me (I’m sure someone will correct Me)but I particularly enjoyed Chester away where we all stood on a pile of rubble and dodged half house bricks that came sailing over from the home fans......how I long for the good old days.

I remember a match like that, we were all stood on the terrace which was indeed a pile of rubble and the whole match was spent dodging stones and lumps of concrete. Got a feeling it was either Lincoln or Crewe as I don’t think I’ve been to Chester
