I sent some people instructions on how to upload the season's fixtures into Outlook last season.

I'd attach the file for uploading for this season if anyone is interested, but the forum rules don't allow me to upload a csv file. So if anyone really is interested and Foxy would be so kind as to relax his restrictions for this then I'll be glad to oblige.

I'd be interested Bushey. I follow your instructions each and every year, then like clockwork each and every year I forget how to do it :)

You should find you can now upload it :)

There is also a site called fixturebox where you can download an app that will upload the fixtures for you. The app will sit on your pc give you any updates. It seems to work ok for google calendar.

S5Blade:
  1. Go to File -> Import and Export
  2. Choose Import from another program and file.
  3. Pick Comma Separated Values (Windows) from the list and click next.
  4. Browse to the file then click next.
  5. Select Calendar as the destination
  6. Click OK and it should import all the info.

Somebody else can check it to see if it works for Android phones.

Does nothing for me - subscribe just says no application to open it with, download merely opens up the ics as a text file.

We have this conversation every year about alternative sources, yet year on year my csv file gets plenty of custom :).

Works for me in gmail

Import events from iCalendar or CSV files

To import events from iCalendar or CSV files, just follow these steps:
  1. Click the down-arrow next to Other calendars
  2. Select Import calendar
  3. Click Choose file and find the file that contains your events, then click Open.
  4. Select the Google Calendar where you'd like to import events, then click Import.

I found that in my Google Calender that it wasnt displaying the end time - being fussy and all I decided to play around with it and now my displays the end time
So if anyone is as fussy as me I can post my edited version for Google.

Strange as I did set an end time in the CSV. Perhaps it maps the fields differently in Gmail to what Outlook does.

Yeah I checked the CSV straight away as i thought you would have - but after a little research it seems Google Calender is quite fussy about it being in the exact order, exact format and perfect everything.
But thanks for doing the leg work anyway :)

You're right it does not give an end time, think I can live with it though.

After Saturday's game I was planning on going for a meal and then to a gig at the Greystones later, should work out OK without an end time.
