This might have been mentioned somewhere else, and I cant take credit for noticing this (spotted it on Twitter), but so far we've only played 1 team from the bottom 10 in the league (Colchester).

With the magic 10 games played marker almost upon us (already reached for some) the league is taking shape.

Last season under NC our brilliant form was underpinned by being able to pick up the 'routine' 3 points - hopefully this continues and catapults us into the automatic frame.

So we've played 8 teams from the top 10

Mmmm don't worry tho, by the time we play all those in the bottom 10, they'll have probably moved up into the top 10

This can be narrowd down even further, in that we have played 5 of the current top 6, and have played more games away than at home.

If we are still in a strong position by the end of October, then we have to fancy our chances, as we then play 9 league matched over Nov/Dec, of which 6 are at home, and 6 are against teams in the current bottom 10.

its noticeable we are third behind 2 teams we lost to

a year ago today leyton orient sat clear at the top unbeaten with 8 wins out of 10 ,
hopefully bristol city will falter in similar fashion , as they tend to do
