one marked difference since wilder took over is our fitness levels. the high intensity game we play it's a necessity and we are arguably one of the fittest squads in the country. if you look at wilder's teams the last 2 years, us and northampton the form from january onwards is nothing short of incredible. to be fair its pretty damn good in the first half of the season but from jan onwards over the last 2 years his record is w 30 d13 l2. so 103 pts in 45 games. is this down to the fitness of his sides. and although at a higher level now could it be what keeps us up there and grabs a play off spot or better??

Lets hope we can get a similar pointsreturn in the 2nd half of this season

i do apologise for not having the time to scroll through days of threads. you may spend half your day on here and know what has been posted, some of us have a life but thank you for your superb input/dig
You have to remember some people would rather act as forum police than make constructive comments.
I am hopeful that we get the kind of points return that Wilders teams have previously got but I do think we were lucky not to get injuries last season and our squad is too small or it is too small in terms of quality. If we sign in January hopefully it is people who are playing otherwise they will take months to get up to speed or will get injuryed quickly like Carruthers did last season

Thought it might've helped as you were writing about fitness, on the contrary, i didn't have that much time to expand on my superb input, ironic really when you haven't given much yourself ;)

Anyway, you'll be pleased to know that there is a search function on this forum which means you don't need to spend all day scrolling

Try searching Matt Prestridge, very good stuff on there about the impact he's had on fitness.

Tbf, there's about 20 threads on how much Wilder will or won't get in the JTW and they're all less interesting than discussing fitness. I don't mind being reminded that we're doing a lot of things well these days.
