If anyone has not yet read this book, I'd advise you to order it now and get your brain into it.

This isn't an advert for the book, per se, just an appeal to anyone connected with the authors, to furthermore appeal they revisit the book and start work on this chapter we are currently experiencing as an amendment to the whole sorry story, because the threads from the past failures of our football team are obviously still there.

If anyone knows the authors, please get them to start something going.

I've read it and really enjoyed it (in a perverse way). I think it was Matthew Bell and Gary Armstrong who wrote it. It's basically just a succession of stories about our board selling our best players and then being seemingly amazed when we go down the leagues. Was interesting to find out that McCabe was in the board room when we sold Deane and Fjortoft on the same day. No idea how much say he had in it but he' certainly hasn't learnt that selling your best players season after season will end up losing you even more money in the long run

I truly think this is the lowest I have ever been as a United fan. There isn't even much anger around just apathy. The club is heading nowhere and there isn't anything anyone can do about it

Just reading it now. It amazes me that we clearly never learn from past regimes.

But as mentioned already - a good book/good read.

Definitely an eye opener.
