Hi there s24su members...
Been trying to get on here for some time but couldn't get past the confirmation bit..
Thanks to linz who sorted it.....

As the title says its my first post here, I've used the mad forum for a year or two,
But like many others have struggled with how it works at times.

My first blades match was an fa cup 0-0 v Newcastle at lane...
Took me awhile to get my dad to take me....
I can still recall the hairs on my neck standing on end and feeling
That I couldn't catch my breath; as I had asthma this was a common feeling,
As we climbed John street steps and saw the pitch/crowd for the very first time,

Down the years there's been other times I've felt like this,
V weds mainly, when Bradshaw scored before kop. That was something else.

There's been the downs too, penalty miss to see us down to Div 4...
And countless more....

Here's to a fruitful membership here, and a bountiful harvest at the end of this season...

.
January 1977. Before the kick off several policemen dived in the BLUT to eject a big fan, they struggled carrying him and pulled down the fan's trousers in an effort to stop him from making things difficult. There was a photo of the big fan with his trousers down on the front page of that evening's Green Un.

Steve Faulkner played very well in that match for us! Honest!

Welcome Bury. How are Bury FC, Flitcroft et al shaping up this season. Look good at scoring but let a lot in. Where's the money coming from. Any players we should be interested in?

Welcome to, dare I say it to the family, just like all families we do have some heated debates, but I wouldn't be anywhere else, a great set of fans young and old, some more knowledgeable than others. :)

Wasn't number 3 caused by the beers ;)

Should there be some kind of Clapper-MiseryGuts test for newcomers (perhaps with a special Bladiness sub-section) featuring hypothetical scenarios and possible responses.

F'r instance:

Your team lose their opening game 4-0, scrape a last minute winner at Morecambe, then sell their Player of the Season.

Do you

a) shrug wearily - you've seen all this and more plenty of times before
b) erect a papier mache guillotine in the car park and chant bloodthirsty slogans at club employees - apart from the tea lady
c) applaud heartily with glassy-eyed faith in the club's Higher Powers
d) other (please specify)

hi there,
I have a few mates who amazingly don't follow manure or citehhh,
they too wonder where the cash is really coming from,
but are pleased at the stature of signings made,
they have a couple of decent players,
rose is not bad on his day but their prized possession is ex pig danny mayor,
can go missing in action from game to game but frightens defences when he goes at them.....
doesn't that remind you of someone......
