First time the team has looked tired

The change in system seemed to neutralise what attacking threat we had and leave us 2 vs 2 against Barnes and vardy. With the pace they seemed to get in easily with simple out balls. It reminded me of our first season in the championship when this happened a lot against villa, Cardiff and Bristol City for example when we ended up chasing the game and conceded more goals. We were still in it at one nil despite how gash we had been.

well its possible. we have just played 9 games in 30 days. which i think is more than the festive period which was 8 games (or 7 as we'd weakened in fa cup) they had played for 4 months. we are doing more having come off 3 months off

& it was a tough run Arsenal Burnley Tottenham Wolves Chelsea Leicester. (if you include man utd) thats 7 top 10 sides consecutively. whether its mental or physical its 1 bad day against quality opposition. im fine with. but i fully understand why wilder said what he said because he determined to keep standards high

This should be an eye opener. Berge was on his knees the other day so it's no surprise to me that he was hooked early doors here. We don't have adequate replacements for Baldock or Basham and have been winging it all season to be honest. I expected Berge, Mcburnie/Mcgoldrick and Osborn all to be benched tonight with an eye on Monday. Fleck, Lundstram, Moose and possibly Sharp to come in.Luckily this sort of schedule isn't the norm in this league.
I have to say Wilder's comment re "lack of changes" in the summer rung alarm bells for me. We need five or six. RWB, RCB, Lundstram replacement; pacy striker, goalkeeper, centre back.

Leicester did to us tonight what we did to spurs, wolves and Chelsea. Outclassed us from start to finish and highlighted every weakness.

Nobody is doing anything but praise the wonderful season we've had. We are complaining about one awful performance last night that was easily the worst by far this season.
