We looked completely gassed, wing backs had no zip, McBurnie toiled but looked tired, nothing doing from the wide centre halves.

Wilder's just said it was poor. So IT MUST HAVE BEEN!Clearly not...

Again - bollocks.
We didn't play poorly. We were just outclassed. Never had a sniff. It happens. No need to make excuses.
On to the next one!
Have we been sussed out?Not sure it was all tired. Leicester played well. They played to spoil our tactics, which maybe a sign for next season. Not the best result at this stage of season but fuck it let’s go do Everton

Concerned that we’ve scored 1 goal in the last 5 away games like I’ve just said. Not sure why that is difficult to understand but If you are relaxed about that then tell me why.Concerned? Fuck me... What could we possibly be concerned about at this very moment?
Jees....
It was gonna happen but this is the most tired performance I've seen all season... however, mission accomplished, survival...

Totally agree, we were just laboured and slow paced tonight. All I can offer in our defence is that we do seem to struggle against teams who sit deep and play on the counter, Leicester are the masters of this. We never looked like finding a way through tonight. I did wish Baldock in particular would have had a go running at the Leicester defender and try and get to the byline. It was often one on one and he elected to pass it back to a guy further behind and I'm thinking what's he gonna do from there other than a hopeful cross. If there is a weakness to our personal and system with wing backs than for me its our inability to be able to take men on, particularly from the flanks. Not saying that Stevens and Baldock need replacing at all, but we need more creativity particularly against teams who sit deep like Watford, Leicester and Newcastle.
We’ve just played Tottenham, Burnley, Wolves and Chelsea all in the top ten of the premier league and walked away with 10 Points out of a possible 12. The effort that takes over two weeks must be enormous especially with a thread bare squad. It’s no wonder they looked shagged tonight.
Out of interest, how many points would you have predicted in such a run of games?
From Chris himself
Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder: "We were way off of it. We have taken some enormous steps forward this season, but the goalkeeper kept us in the game, we never deserved anything form the game - off it from the first minute to the 90th, no excuse from us. Technically very poor, physically out-fought.
"We have done a job on a couple of teams recently but their fight was bigger than ours and they wanted the result more.
"They were sharper, quicker in thought and in action. We have helped them get going again."
The first half was undeniably poor and demanded that changes be made.
By the 55 minute mark, however, with just a goal in it, we had made 4 changes that created a complete mess. Yes, we needed to change personnel but we did not need to change the system.
If there is one thing that has been obvious to everyone since the restart, including impartial media observers, it is that we are simply not anywhere near the same team, in either an attacking or defending sense, when the Basham-Egan-O'Connell axis is not there. The whole thing generally goes to pot.
The substitution of Basham was an incredibly poor decision. The back 4 that remained was all over the place, and we were fortunate to not concede several more. At the same time, any semblance of attacking down the flanks was completely stymied. Countless times in the second half, Enda had the ball just over half-way and was looking for JOC only to find that he was not where he usually is, but stood halfway into his own half as part of a central 2. Baldock showed tremendous energy to keep flying up the right (albeit his touch was off all night) but rarely saw the ball without Basham being there to support him.
All of the praise and plaudits that United have received this season highlights the fact that our unique 'system' is so well drilled and that our players play it with the confidence of knowing exactly where their team-mates will be at all times. To abandon that system and go 4-3-3 with 40 minutes left and only a goal down was a poor decision. Change some players within the system by all means - for instance the strikers looked shattered - but don't change the system.
Finally, our complete failure to get at that makeshift defence is a massive disappointment. You would have thought that we would have had some plan to test Morgan on the floor rather than fling it in the air for him to head away. If Leicester have to field that defence against Spurs and Man U, it'll get absolutely torn asunder. Yes, we don't have anything like Kane, Son, Martial, Greenwood or Rashford, but to allow Wes Morgan to stroll through 95 minutes without any alarm was desparately poor.
The thought of Lundstrum against Everton is surely a joke.
