Been visiting this site for ages, keeping up to date with goings on at The Lane and thought I'd register.

I first went to BDTBL in 1970 in the Currie. Woodward and Cricket Pavilion era. I've been going on and off ever since. I must admit it's more 'off' recently, due to working shifts and living out of the immediate area.

Although last season I started taking my six year old son and do feel an obligation to maintain the Blade family tradition, particularly as he shows more than a passing interest in Man Utd. However I can't help thinking my efforts are being hampered by the likes of Jordan Stewart !

Welcome to the forum 1889... I do hope social services aren't reading this as they could do you for child cruelty :D

Welcome 1889 (1970 in the Currie. Woodward and Cricket Pavilion) another person who remembers as players played with thier hearts for a club and not for the money. At least you just had one or two new players each year and not a new squad Toni Currie walked on water.

Welcolme 1889 to the blades fan board.
At least you remember when we could play some decent passes and football, with quality players.
