First nil nil since the 'ghost goal' game

Yesterday was the first nil nil since June 2020, the first game in lockdown at Aston Villa. Its surprising considering how few goals we have been scoring.This season with us still struggling to score, but our defence being better able to cope with Championship attackers I can see fewer 1-0 defeats and more nil nils. We haven't had a goalless draw at home since Wednesday parked the bus at Bramall Lane back in 2018!

I hope we start scoring a few because watching us at the moment is extremely dull. We’ve got a generation of fans hooked on the club based on the pretence of us playing entertaining football (2 and a bit seasons worth), since then we’ve been inept going forward and sideways, backwards etc etc in midfield.

We are in danger of slipping into the doldrums again if we don’t smarten up.
