Not comparable, everyone always scattered everywhere, it's never great at neutral grounds with large followings.

The problem with playing the first couple of bars over the tannoy is, the original version of the song is a much more downbeat version, and that slow rhythm is picked up by the crowd, mean we essentially start both halves of every home match to something akin to a funeral march! I HATE 'forced' participation like that and fecking goal music. Sterilises the entire experience for me.

I agree regarding music. Suppose having Sinclair as "compare" who has an oap bar doesn't help. Playing cilla fucking black was pure cringe

I've said it before - Get the teams read out and play it in full before the ref blows the whistle. Its our song, we should hear it in full.

You'll never walk alone is classed as one of the best football anthems ever, they play the song and fade it out for the fans to take over. I'm not saying if it's good enough for Liverpool, it's good enough for us. But it works, everyone is in sync and the actual music lasts no more than 10 seconds. No need to change the way we do it imo.

I could honestly ditch it next home game, we've been doing it for enough years that it's going to get sung at kick off anyway. The kop can manage to do it in time, it works just fine when you aren't expecting it. It sounded great late on in the last home game.

If it's orchestrated its just not that impressive.

Not just music, take a bit of inspiration from WWF maybe...night matches have the lights go out and then back on again as we appear in a mysterious cloud of mist in the centre circle. A whole new level of mind games!
