On a Premier league match on the opening day. And 4 in a row defeats. Just saying

Can't wait to see more comments like this than actual criticism tonight.

Shit first half, better 2nd half.

To say people think we can defend I’m not convinced.

Toothless going forward, slow and ponderous throughout apart from the kitchen sink last 10 mins.

Not really much more to say and I’ve got very little constructive to say so I’ll leave it to the messiah and his pal Alan to sort out.

Kitchen sink?? More like wash bowl.

Difficult to sort out without any better players at their disposal.
We do need to reflect on the fact that Wolves have real quality players and are a top 6 side.

Our best spell was midway through the half or just after midway. The last ten minutes were more or less Wolves hitting us on the break and us just retaining possession. We played well for about 20 minutes and hit the post. Its fine margins, had we scored the one that hit the post we may well have drawn the game. We started so badly but there are positives from the match. Anyone remember we lost the first two matches in the season we got promoted!? The new signings need time to be in and challenge because one or two of the starters need to have greater competition this season and we've got that now. Bogle will certainly get his chance if Baldock plays like that, sorry to pick on Baldock but his crossing is just not good enough.

It was a poor performance, but I don’t think we’re getting relegated based on that. If we don’t beat Villa and Leeds I think we’re in for a very long season though. That was hopefully a reality check for those thinking we’ll easily finish top half.

We'll not be relegated, who knows where will finish, only one game and all of that. Wolves are a v good side on their day but we can only blame ourselves after defending so badly to start.

Bar the first 15 not too unhappy, for the final 75 it looked as though they'd actually met each other before.

If not for bad decision making by Stevens, Sharp and a post getting in the way could have been interesting.

Cest la vie.

And for all the negative soothsayers out there......"FFS get a grip"
