As a kid most of our football was played in Lowedges park but sometimes we used to go and play on the Bradway 'rec' behind the Bradway pub.

We'd then try and get those yellow golf balls from under the fence on the driving range and try and sell them back to golfers.

Bradway pub in the early 1970's had some decent players. Think a couple of brothers, Lemons(?) and the Mitchells played for them.

More to the side of the golf range. Right behind the Bradway pub. There was a railway tunnel behind one of the goals.
