It’s nice not to have to think about the goalkeeper position anymore. Competency personified.

Not that tall (6'1") , slightly built , but such a well-positioned , athletic , intelligent keeper with good distribution.
We've been spoilt in recent seasons having 2 England keepers , but Cooper is our player and although it's early days , I can't fault him.

I wasn't convinced that Souttar and Anel would flourish as CB's in a back 4 but so far they've shown themselves to be athletic, intuitive, assured and can play football too. The only attacking success Hull had tonight was when McCallum switched off on a couple of occasions.

Last season our CB's were awfully exposed but this season we are a difficult team to play against because if you try and play through us you've get to overrun Souza & Blaster - good luck with that.
Try to play over us you've got two giants who will win more aerial duals than they'll lose.
Try to go out wide and we've got two very quick, defensively capable fullbacks not to mention a Goalkeeper who commands his area (finally!)

We didn't look cohesive tonight but we still showed all the attributes that are required to be a success at Championship level. After 5 games, you can say it's been an excellent start for a team that tonight had 7 players in the XI who have only been at the club for a mere 3 months. They're only going to get better and better.

We are gelling each game and look like we will always score on the break away .
Best midfield for years and looks like every player wants to play for the club . The confidence is back and I honestly belive if we went up we would give it a much better go plus strengthen finances . The whole club seems united again .
