You could have had mine if you’d mentioned it sooner I believe the unsigned ones hold their value better by the way.

Told this one before, but happy to repeat it. The Internet Blades part sponsored a game close to 20 years ago, meal and quiz included. Somehow, our table won the quiz and compère Kevin Gage was greeted with hoots of derision when he announced that the prize was a signed copy of Fever Hitch, plus a shout of “is there a second prize?”

I’d like to say that the book remained unclaimed after the game but I would be making that up.

Funny you should say that because I am reliably informed - by me (I sit behind Adrian on the kop) that research must have begun, again, because he actually hitched to the game on Saturday - the first time since the game vs Norwich in the Prem where Sharpy converted a Lundstram cross for the winner.
