I’ve always wondered how many of his injuries were genuine which actually may be more worrying.
The club have shown with McGoldrick that they can turn round people with genuine injury history but if it’s attitude that’s a whole different story.
All I would say is if Wilder and Knill are satisfied they can turn him into a proper United player, for me they’ve earned the right to try even if me and most others shudder at the thought.

Forestieri would be perfect for us, nationalised Italian he will have some great contacts in the cash and carry industry over there.

Alan Nixon doesn't tend to get a whole lot wrong from my understanding.

There's no way we would pay 14M or anywhere near that for him. I reckon that's just a negotiation price slapped on him and them hoping some club will make an unrealistic offer close to that. He has one year left on his contract. We would probably be able to negotiate that price down alot, around 5M is the very max I think he's worth personally, which is a big amount considering how he's done the last two seasons but there's no doubting that when fit and in good form he's a quality play and would be good fit in our system (I can see why Wilder would want him). If he's matured and Wilder trusts him, I wouldn't mind us bringing him in.
