Femi Seriki

It's a fine line these days between being a good samaritan and a wannabe internet influenza.

Worrying though how many of our fans were happy to pile in on Seriki based on the factual evidence of nothing. Because - someone said so on social media.
Club are carrying out an internal investigation.
Sounds like he was driving like an idiot.
Anyone remember Prince Naseem’s crash.
Let’s leave it to the Club & Police to sort out.

Really hard to see what has gone on there. If the White Golf (?) is his, it doesn't look damaged and its facing the correct way. Whilst the other car is the wrong way round and on its side.

🤷‍♂️
If it’s over Peak District way between Dore and fox house that road can be a nightmare with stupid over taking.

So some random bloke almost caught up in Seriki's crash finds out he's a footballer and decides to contact the club because he's so traumatised?
Would he have done the same if it was a plumber?
Yeah, thanks for helping out at the crash site.

No thanks for going running to the internet to post the club’s response like some tattle tale.

I have, nothing in that says he needed to be pulled out.
"... went to pull the driver out of the car that caused it and was a United player..."

It's true that it it doesn't say he needed to be pulled out, but it certainly implies that the poster at least thought that was necessary.

My point, however, was that Seriki didn't look like he had been or had needed to be pulled out.

It could also imply that the person who posted wanted to pull him out in an aggressive way to berate him for causing an accident.

Nothing in the original post implies that Seriki was injured.

Surely the Audi RS is he 😂

Well yeah, his car is on its side 🤣

And you think Bettis would thank him for doing this?
It clear what the comment is meant to mean.

We haven’t seen the X users e-mail to Bettis, only the reply he received. Therefore we don’t know whether the X user mentioned anything about dragging him from his car to Mr Bettis or not.

You’ve just jumped to conclusions with little evidence to support your statement. Honestly basic comprehension skills seem to have evaded a lot of users on here.

Ok. So Bettis thanked him for helping out at the scene. So how does this tie in with your comment :

A lot of users comprehend that some people big up incidents and themselves. They do this by spouting shit on social media.
Let's hope femi and anybody else is involved.is ok, and any wrongdoing is dealt with by people in possession of some facts.

Bettis replied to an email that we haven’t seen. So we have no idea what the person who emailed him claimed he did to help at the scene.

Since Bettis thanked him, do you think it was for dragging him out to berate him, as you said was a possibility?

We don’t know what Bettis thanked him for, because we haven’t seen his email to Bettis and therefore do not know what he told Bettis he did. It’s really not that difficult to understand 🤦‍♂️🤣

Yes.
As you say, maybe he was thanking him for dragging Seriki out to bollock him.

I’ll admit i’m not a Lawyer or in the Legal system in any way but i can’t imagine Seriki would have been able to fly out to Spain so quickly if he was involved in an active police investigation?
