Friday night under the lights at Elland Road, late winner from our young talent to send the away end absolutely potty.

Even sweeter for me at the time as I was working in Leeds, in an office full of Leeds fans. They didn’t see us a threat as it was our first season back but that win took us top of the league. 🤣

How did Duffy's ball get through those 2 defenders? Quality through ball and cracking finish

Staying away from the obvious

1) Football - Didzy putting us back in from against Derby. Not known an atmosphere like that for eons.
2) Fan stuff - That hour in the ground post match at Brighton. Nobody left and everybody sang, danced and drank like it was the last day of civilisation
3) Personal - That Boo Radley got to see it and love it all

After the doom and gloom of Millwall scoring a late equaliser the game before the moment we knew it was back on again. How we've missed Duffys invention in midfield.

Enda's volley against Brighton.

Billy shushing the Norwich fans after getting his goal.

Fleck's brace against Villa and Grealish missing his penalty!

Deano saving the penalty against Citeh.

Mousset putting Phil Jones on his arse.

West Ham at home, Snodgrass last minute VAR decision.

Beating Man U this season.

We needed this thread.

Never has a thread made me feel both immensive pride, happiness and heartache all the the same time. It really has been utterly fucking magic.

I'll add one that'll stay with me - Stearman, absolutely fucking blindo.
Probably my favourite memory and I'd forgotten about it!

Stears will forever be a hero for that day alone

Walking from the lane to Town Hall for the league one parade along side the bus and stopping all the traffic in city centre. Singing, the players all pissed, Wilder nearly dropping the trophy and preying Freeman didn't fall off the town hall.

One of mine: March 2017, Millwall at home, we were getting close to promotion, but years of failure had brought out the pessimist in most of us. United were 1-0 up, defending a corner, and cleared the ball and set off to attack. Right-back Freeman suddenly appeared in the inside-left position, and I was just saying ‘What the **** is the right-back doing over there when we are 1 goal up?’ Then he received the ball, moved forward, shot, and scored. After that I began to trust Wilder when he took decisions that seemed questionable. I enjoyed sitting back and letting him get on with it.

Thanks everyone. This is going to take me ages so can always add to it.

Very rough draft includes...

Sander @ palace
Baldock vs Norwich
Duffy vs Wendy
Sharp vs Leeds
Enda vs Brighton
Lee Evans side foot volley
Moose vs man u
Sharp celebration @ bournemouth
Lunny vs Grealish
Norwood ping
Moose vs Phil Jones
Basham arriving
Hendo piss take diving
Fleck to hit it
Fleck vs arse
Wilder pitch slide
Surman vs Wilder

Any others?

Duffy's screamer away at Reading 😍

Everything we havent done recently that.

Beating Derby at home Boxing Day, cracking atmosphere, overcoming a real injustice in their equaliser, and that was the first time I believed and I think the players proved to themselves that we could beat the top sides in the league when the opposition weren’t just having “an off day”

Favourite moment, use to get time and half for working Saturdays, nowt finer or anyone’s favourite than getting to work at 6am and having a SxxT knowing you where getting time and a half pay whilst on the pot. My Favourite. Sorry wrong thread.

A bit sad that a simple ball inside to a midfielder making his way forward and then a fairly simple through ball to a striker bursting through the defence is deemed impossible for us to even contemplate as a Premier League club.

April 2017, Easter Monday v Bradford City at the Lane.
3 0 and "that's why we're champions" ringing round the Lane after our goals.
The Leon 4 fest v Hull City.
The Hillsborough 4 2.
