Just read a link on Facebook regarding Tommy Hoyland being the oldest ex player still alive in his 90s.
His son Jamie followed in his footsteps to play for the Blades but are their any other combinations of father and son to play for us, or for other clubs.?

Nice guy Jamie Hoyland and a true Blade but you only ever noticed him if he was wrapped in bandages.

Ryan and Steve Ludlam.

Although Ryan didn't make an actual first class appearance I don't think. On bench at Ipswich in the Cup I remember.

The Wagstaff brothers played for The Blades in the 1960s, I think. Tony and forgot his brother's first name.

If we sign Jack Cork or Archie Gray we could add to the list…

Tom Fenoughty and his brother apparently his son was ceo. I'm not sure though.

We had John Paul McGovern for a very unremarkable loan spell in 02/03. His dad was famously part of the (spit) Notts Forest side who won the European Cup.
