I am going to Blackpool. I repeat, I will be in attendance at Blackpool offering my unwavering support to the lads. Please remember this when you start discussing what can and can't be discussed rather than the matter at hand.

I'll give you my match report now because I might have had a few.

Bunn is a total joke, Blackwell is hopeless, was McCabe there to witness it first hand?, no movement, no possession, Evans and Daz isn't working, none of the players know eachother and have no respect for the manager, Harper can't run anymore, Taylor is a 3rd tier player, loan players do not have that extra 1% will to win, Blackpool look a more organised unit, very cold, very wet, loved every minute. Blackwell OUT.
 

Would you like some help to put your teddies back in your pram or can you manage it all on your own? :D

It's great that you can make your mind up before you've even seen it.
Personally, I prefer to keep an open mind and comment on what I've actually seen.
 
Any credibility of your arguements has also been flung out of the pram along with the afore mentioned toys.

I'm not sure why you'd want to go to the Blackpool game if your opinion is already formed. Or is it that you beat yourself up with negativity so that your hopes don't get dashed if we slip up?

Personally I expect a response from the team, Blackie's not happy (unsurprisingly) I imagine a few choice words were said to the players post match today. I wouldn't like to be Blackpools shoes as I can see us making up for today's disaster.

Don't think i'll get to listen to it as I'll be in Houston on Tuesday night :D

Erm... He's a member of the forum you are making the thread on? Therefore he's entitled to reply with his opinion, providing it is done respectfully and within the rules.

If you wish to speak only to yourself, then do it, instead of opening a discussion on a forum? :rolleyes:
 
I aint saying that. Of course he can reply and debate. I aint that bad am I? He was, in my opinion, effectively saying no point posting if not been to the match - and yes it has pissed me off because spirit and unity is lacking I feel. But no hard feelings - it's just pissed me off, I admit that.

The thing is, if you have strong opinions and make them during a match which you are listening to, you put yourself out there for people to give contrasting views.

Is someone saying that they'd rather either see it first hand or reserve judgement as they only have someone elses opinion to go on such a major attack on you?

Of course it isn't. It's a contrasting opinion to yours, just as valid as yours.

You then, back up the complete opposite to your view by stating your "report" of a match which hasn't even taken place yet.
However tongue in cheek it may be, if anything, it supports the opinion regarding forming an opinion which isn't based upon your own experience.

I'm not quite sure what is in the water at the moment and why people take themselves and others so seriously!
 
I agree with all you say - but I'll stress again, IMO he or she came on claiming to be the voice of what is fair comment and what isn't. This was before he or she joined in the debate about Blackwell and SUFC. OK I'm taking it too seriously but I don't usually (honestly) and this time I'm pissed off.

Yes I post purposefully inflamotary rubbish at times but deep down I promise you I love talking SUFC and football as much as you and I was trying to do that today (however much you disagree with my views) before someone came on having a pop (as if they owned the site imo) because I gave an opinion based on radio coverage stating there had been arguments amongst players.

Yes I post purposefully inflamotary rubbish at times but deep down I promise you I love talking SUFC and football as much as you and I was trying to do that today (however much you disagree with my views) before someone came on having a pop (as if they owned the site imo) because I gave an opinion based on radio coverage stating there had been arguments amongst players.

My point about losing your credibility was based on the fact that you're completely closed to thought of things improving, this was proved by your match report for the Blackpool game. Perhaps if you calmed down a little and actually read your own post you'd see why I think you're losing credibility.

Unfortunately i've only been posting on this site this season, so i only have this season to go on, perhaps last season you had more intelligent comments to make. The last few weeks you've stamped your feet and when people disagree you spit the dummy out.

The reason I come on this forum is to chat about the team I love. I'm all for arguing a point, we don't all agree, but lets all have a sensible disagreement rather than "blackwell's shit".

As for the reason you started this post. I read silverfox's post and didn't read it the same way you did. I didn't see it as someone telling you off.

I wouldn't tell you what to post, but surely you can see silverfox's point.

Anyway I look forward to reading a vaguely intellectual post from you sometime soon.
 
Micalijo in the main I agree with all that you say. I have only been a member of this forum for a couple of weeks and I said from the outset that I had no time for Mr B and I have had a jibe at him in just about everything I have posted. Recently we were asked the question should he have gone after the POs. For me the answer was/is yes but that chance has passed and now, in my humble opinion, isn't the right time for him to go. Then in response to the question will we go up I gave a resounding yes. I offered my usually tirade about Mr. B and then said that I thought we had enough quality and that I expected it to improve. Today I have missed only my second game of the season and it would appear from what I heard on Radio Sheff and from listening to people that have been my judgement could be sorely at risk. I, like you will be going to Blackpool with similar thoughts but I will sit there on my £24.50 uncovered seat willing and urging whatever team he turns out to win. That's our job - we have no other. However, we are entitled to be critical; we can in essence say what we like, when we like and about who we like but with dignity and respect. Long may this forum last with both you and Silverfox posting.

Recently I came across the following and after reading a lot of today's posts I thought it may resonate with some amongst us of which I count myself as one: -

I think Silverfox was out of order, and I think you are close to being out of order with some of that. I aint trying to get last word in but it's how I feel. If you think I never post anything sensible from the viewpoint of KB is rubbish then you are way, way off the mark - and I don't use the word shit.

He should stick to the golf, at this rate he is going to have a major heart attack over what? A forum, a football team and someone who happened to disagree with his somewhat forthright opinions. I would suggest stress counselling and siiting in a dark room for 24 hours. Things may well take on a whole different perspective then.

As an aside I didnt go to the match today, but by all accounts we were exceptionally poor. I am putting it down to a bad day at the office and moving on.

Like I said, I don't know if you post anything sensible you probably do. I just haven't seen anything. Probably I am way off the mark, but I just go on what i've read.

I'm not sure why you're getting so uptight with some of us here. You're the one that posts during the game with your Anti Blackie views. So I guess if you wanted a reaction then you'll get it. But then on the same token you can't expect everyone to be polite and friendly.

My medical opinion is that everyone needs is a huge dose of chill the fuck out :)

Yes... we're all as mad as each other. But what you're getting upset about is 20-odd over-paid, mentally deficient people who just happen by some quirk of nature to be exceptionally spatial aware when it comes to things around their feet. They make their living by knocking a bag of wind around some grass yet somehow this makes them demi gods.

It also, apparently, is the cause for much raised blood pressure.

I suggest a little step back is in order. A reassessment about what exactly is worth getting to het up about in life. And then a return to being a civil and intelligent human being, instead of a ranting sack of testosterone... and that goes for everyone.

I will not have people getting at each other, is that clear?
