What a great result, i'm beaming, absolutely beaming. Have real confidence this season, still unbeaten after 6, 2nd spot (albeit til tonight) and playing so solidly.

I'm a Blackie fan and its a good start to the season, but we've still not even played 10 games yet.

That said I'm a very happy Blade today

Thats the sort of game we wouldn't of won last season, we always seemed to find it hard to break teams down who were playing for a point.

Well done Blackie and the boys today, look so much better than last season, just need to keep it up and not get any injuries.

It was an impressive all round perfomance, not least by 2,750 Blades fans. Derby must have taken vows of silence.

The back 4 were commanding: Morgs wife will get a surprise when she's doing the washing and finds Rob Hulse in his pocket. Killa oozed quality as ever.A special mention for the full backs who were both dominant. Walker, in particular, dominated a decent opponent and found time to get forward to good effect.

Harpo had a quiet but classy debut: much more to come I think. Monty and Quinn were tireless. Bunn had little to do but his handling was faultless.

A well deserved 3 points. This season is going to be much better than I expected.

Well done team and non-stop fans alike.

As someone who has a wife from Derby and so plenty of Derby supporting friends and family can I just say THANKYOU VERY MUCH BLADES! You have made my weekend, especially as my mother-in-law came round for one of her monthly visits just after half time. She didn't look happy when I ran into the living room to dance with my fully kitted out 18 month old daughter when we scored. Happy days now please stuff our piggy friends so that I can go and dance on my brother-in-laws garden, while my daughter shouts "hello Uncle Pig".
