Fans that leave early

Sorry but if the entertainment was better fewer people would leave. It's shit third division fare so people don't care when they get there and when they leave. Many season ticket holders apparently don't want to be there in the first place if you listen to some on here.

I tend to arrive 30 - 45 mins before kick off and watch them warm up.

Unfortunately it seems because I leave as we enter injury time I'm a "nawty, nawty boy"

By nature I always turn out for work early, always turn up for appointments early (work and personal life) but always want to get away early, miss the traffic wherever possible. I'm in the car most of the day and I have come to fkin hate traffic jams.

It's not a United thing. (although most of the games at home this season tbf, have been boring sh1te) It's a me thing

You 58 are a Nawty Nawty boy. I sentence you to detention at the end of every home match next season (sorry bit harsh but there ya go).

I too used to spend 5-6 hours a day in traffic jams up and down the country (mainly M25) and hate jams.

Do me a favour 58. Stay in your seat a few times next season and see if it makes much difference to your trip home. At least if you do get delayed you can listen to the fantastic summary and analysis Radio Pig

BBC News this morning showed Souffffend fans that left early in the L2 Play-Off final running back up Wembley Way trying to get back in after they heard their team had scored in extra time.

Southend went on to win on penalties, hope the stewards kept them out.

I do not understand this leaving early phenominum, if they got in did they stand and block someone's view?

Fully agree, do these type of fans leave the cinema five minutes before the end of the film too? I sit near gangway G and it is annoying that the fans block my view of the match as they stand in the gangway!

I can fully understand people leaving early for a routine league game or something of the kind when they are 3-0 down or similar but when they are only a goal down in the playoff final at wembley then they need to think about what they want to watch in future.

I wouldn't leave an important game early. I'm talking in general

I also agree it might be annoying to some, but it's each to their own

I don't tell other fans when they should turn up or when they should leave, nor do I tell fans whether turning up when they've had one of the 8 is acceptable either and by the same token, nor do I expect others to be telling me that SUFC have introduced a new rule that states what time we should arrive or leave

Went to the races yesterday. Paid to get in. Guess what? No one had a go because I chose to leave before that last race that only had a poxy 5 runners

As I say, each to their own

can understand leaving if its 3-0
but 1-0,madness

Loads of fans left at Swindon when we were 3-0 down. However, I stayed right to the final whistle, and applauded the players off.

I'd like to claim that this is because I'm such a big Blade. In fact, it's because I had been drinking snake bites all day and my legs didn't respond right when I tried to stand up.

I live in southend , and the shrimpers only get gates of around 4 thousand, a lot of the locals around here "support " the London clubs , wet spam ,Chelsea ,etc . but always turn out to "support " southend at Wembley , so im not surprised to see loads of em leaving before the match ended. ****in southern muppets the lot of em!!

I don't give a fuck what time anyone leaves but when you're in a playoff final or another really big game you shouldn't be wanting to leave at any point when only losing by the one goal, that's just plane stupid in anyones book surely!
